Warioware has always been a highly scoring game. It's Mario Party that sucks.

mmm..? the game got a AA, PC gamers are always saying that game is a disapointment or that it could have been much better (including myself) how is that overrated?

Halo 3 - I don't think it's necessarily overrated, because that was a very complete game. People that didn't like it probably didn't like Halo to begin with.

GTAIV - Not overrated. People that say it's overrated overlook what the game is trying to do. I don't think it got as many "courtesy 10's" as MGS4. However, thats just my opinion.

MGS4 - Slightly overrated. I've played it, beat it. Great game, yeah, best game evar! No. The game annoyed me when it went from open world do what you want for the first half, and the second half was linear as hell.

That has to be the worst list I've ever seen. Seriously. I doubt you've played half those games. IMO, you just picked some of the better games on each system and said they were overrated in the hopes of having a huge thread. The only game I would agree with you on is GTAIV. MGS4 is awesome.

EDIT: Almost all those games up there like Halo 3, GTAIV, MGS4, SSBB and others deserved there score. They were all great games. Your just picking out the ones that got the highest rating which were hyped alot. sheesh:roll:

1. BioShock - Words cannot describe how grossly overrated this game is.
2. The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion - An example of how to run a series into the ground, and be praised for it.
3. Gears of War - Hiding behind a wall, grunting your ever so manly grunts? Not very interesting.
4. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune - Hiding behind a wall, spilling out your cliched movie lines? Not very interesting.
5. Grand Theft Auto IV - The opening and ending is awesome, but apart from a few missions the central 10-15 hours are rather boring.
6. World in Conflict - Just me, but it was terribly shallow for a RTS.
7. Call of Duty 4 - Rather shallow multiplayer and a short singleplayer does not make such a great game as the world puts it out to be.
8. No More Heroes - Can you get a more 'meh' game? Seriously, damn tedious.
9. Lost Odyssey - I normally can finish JRPGs no matter what, but damn the story was as interesting as a fly.
10. Halo 3 - A few too many accolades for this game, it's good but not deserving of what it got.

sounds to me you havent played any of those games. MOST of them of good, and great. Zelda, well is classical zelda, Vegas1 (not 2) was a new decent shooter that introduced some gcool things, mario kart well its mario kart it never gets old, perfect dark zero (never heard of it), halo 3, reason why its "overrated" is because cod4 came shortly after it, really its dead to cod4 (however ppl made there money because it was halo), but really this games a clone of halo 2. Brawl is fun but it gets old, GTA4 (i hate it for some reason, i can get around to like the characters), Super mario galaxy (i cant really say much because im so burnt out of playing mario all my life on gameboy, that when i see a mario game im like "ohh ANOTHER one of these". MGS4, i completely disagree, i love it. Mainly because i love mgs story and its a "movie expereince"

4. Grand Theft Auto IV - The opening and ending is awesome, but apart from a few missions the central 10-15 hours are rather boring. I love the Russians in the game, I played this game for 30 hours before I beat it. I enjoy it a lot. I play multiplayer and thats some good fun.

The multiplayer is quite deep with the perks system and level system. I found this to be the most enjoyable game so far this gen. It's the game I can sit down and have fun for hours with.

I've played it and beat it twice. I like what it did and everything. It is an amazing game. But, it's not the best game I've played this gen. No where near the most fun I've had either.

Just cause a game scores high it doesn't mean it is overrated. Those are 10 of the highest scoring games this gen and you claim they are all overrated.

why dont u just say that every AAA-AAAA is overated seeing as u pretty much list them all. Heres a harder question what AAA-AAAA isnt overated? Sounds like the majority were just ripped off the top-rated list. Halo 3 is overrated though. As one who has played far more innovative PC shooters, Halo 3 is only good as a console shooter. I downloaded the PC demo of Halo: Combat Evolved, and I couldn't even finish the level before closing the game to play something better. I also found Tony Hawk's Project 8 disappointing. Same old formula for the eighth time, this time with some wonky physics system that seems to be intentional. I had to go back to playing Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 because it wasn't nearly as fun.

Stalker is overrated. Not in the score on the site, but in the overall consensus of people who have played it. It is not the second coming. :|yellowandmushy
