I think it's a bit weird there is no sign of Nemesis here. ( haven't played RE3, but heard from a lot of people Nemesis is very scary)

That surreal final boss in Earthbound. And OOT's mini-boss that was surrounded by hands coming from the ground.

I actually found Big Daddies in bioshock to be kind of scary. They themselves weren't scary, but it was them + environment + that bellow that you hear when they're nearby. Especially early on the game, I was terrified of engaging in these guys.

They need the Dragon God and the Old One from Demons Souls up there. djsifer01

Yeah totally, the first time i played it they made me jump, but you get used to them lumbering around if you dont do anything to harm them.

The t-rex in the original adaption of Tomb Raider scared the holy moly out of me when i was a kid. I literally ran into the next room when the screen started to shake because I knew what was coming.

-The first time i fought the dragon god in demon's souls... *walks in room, sees gigantic dragon* ":shock: i have to fight that?!"... but the actual fight isnt that hard..

-the chozo ghosts in metroid prime

-idk if we can include multiple monsters, but the first horde i saw in L4D scared the **** out of me

-the SA-X from metroid fusion (thanks for reminding me gamingcucumber)

iron maidens from re4, those blind guys too

Yeah, although I think Controllers were slightly scarier, especially in Call of Pripyat where the screen would turn yellow/blue if one was near.

No nemesis=fail. You were crapping your pants when you heard the stomps get louder and louder and then the music starts and your like "OH MY GOD GATTA RUN". The siren zombies were scary too. Mainly cause the evil laugh and the fact they never die.

First time playing Super Metroid in Super NES, this mother***** scared the **** out of me when it came out:

As scary as the game is frustrating, this boss fight wasn't as hard but scary once you enter the hallway:

And of course this part:

That one crazy bastard in Dead Space that regenerated limbs.

Regenerators in RE4 scared the hell out of me. Their breathing made me cringe.
