A rough guesstimate of 16 million is much larger the Halo which hasn't ever even reached 10 million on one installment. Its a well known fact that The Sims is the best selling PC game of all time. Regardless of which you're beat. EA has the rights to The Sims and The Sims has pushed more software then any Halo game. Hell I didn't even have to factor in the expansions or additional platforms.

Halo is a monster,that thing easily outsells every game expect for GTA. Which is going to be a bigger monster as Rockstar expects to ship 9 million for launch between the 360 and PS3.....Jeez thats alot.

Erm, PS3 NEEDS EA. EA is the single most important publisher, and despite what your elitism drives you to believe, is also a very good publishing house, outputting quality product alongisde their cash cows.

Orange Box is a solid game on the 360/PC...w/ PC being superior...but the 360 is still very good.

EA is the most powerful 3rd Party Dev on the planet. For you to say that a console doesn't need EA is down right ridiculous.

You saying any console that doesn't have them is more ridiculous. And the DC did NOT die because EA hated them. Go back and do some research and find the real reasons.

Yeah becausee not having Madden on your console is the sure way to get sales lol. EA drives tons of sales. They are the most profitable 3rd Party company. If you do not do good business with them then EA's Legion of casuals will go else where. Hence the PS2. Sega was already in huge financial difficulties and not having EA onboard only makes a situation worse.

Because we all know the first thing people look for in a system is EA. :roll: If you think the only reason the DC failed is because they didn't have EA.......:roll: Be my guest and ignore the countless other mistakes they made well beyond EA that killed them..In the long run not having EA was only minor. That system would have failed with or without EA.

I'm suprised that EA is doing decent on Wii, because I'd think that most people who own the Wii have no interest in sports games. It makes sense for the 360 to have made the most money for EA, since its a system that aims towards American users and so do EA games.
