This got me

@TheFadeForever: It's rendering techniques are very similar to Ryse. Ryse looks outstanding UC 4 does that visual quality with higher res and more going on. So that's why it is impressive. We have yet to see a game look like Ryse with as much freedom as UC4. The order 1886 looks the part but is also very linear.
I can crediit UC for being more openness in that particular level although I seen rougher edges in places I guess so they can aim for higher framerates
@TheFadeForever: It's still heavily compressed. It's not a fair judgment cause the IQ takes a huge hit. Let's wait till Naughty Dog releases the uncompressed screenshots.
Depends how compress are videos from gamersyde or non youtube source I seen neogaf ones which look no different from my screens or the others who posted some. I say they are very close to what the game looks like unless ND releases better ones although I have doubts they would look 5 times better.
Better wait than use assumptions
You can already download uncompressed version of the demo and get screens frame by frame from them
You can't. The game is not out yet, and Naughty Dog hasn't released screens of the game yet. There's no way you can get an in-game screenshot of the Uncharted 4 that looks just as good as when you're playing it on your TV, the gamersyde video isn't a true representation of the graphics cause it's still compressed(e.g. look at the trailer for The Last Of Us on their site).

There are direct feed shots posted from a couple of sites.

A couple of sites posted unofficial screen grabs from a video. That doesn't mean it represents what the game truly looks like.
Neither of them is all that impressive. For those who have never played on a mid range pc maybe they look impressive. Hell the order only pulls of what it's doing because it's not rendering a very large section of the screen. I do like how they pulled of the filmic look but even then I'd like them to fill my fucking screen up. I hate when movies do this and I sure as hell don't want games to start cutting off chunks because it's "artistic" or "cinematic"
Bitter much?
@scottpsfan14:
The option of scalable is moot when it comes to consoles, you get what you are given. If the developer decided to reduce resolution even more they could add more 'graphical' bells and whistles and potentially make a game real time render at full modern CGI levels. This is almost what they are doing with The Order with those black bars. More cinematic my arse, the whole thing is smoke and mirrors and what annoys me is that PS4 fans are lapping it up.
Compare it to the screens of AC:U (PC) and Ryse (PC) posted above, these are doing everything and more than The Order is doing in a full screen environment at greater resolutions and frame rates and look far better for it.
Just to be clear here, Uncharted 4 looks great, there is plenty of time to go before release and it looks like a far more interesting game to boot. If Drake actually moves like that outside of a practiced and choreographed game play demo then Sony will have a game to be proud of. Neither of them are graphics kings, once you leave the comfortable confines of the console space though.

If you think Ryse and AC:U actually look better then the Order you are blind at best.
Uncharted 4 looks great from what we've seen so far. Some rough edges around some cliffs and rocks are no big deal. Everything else in the game looks really good and the individual assets are highly detailed. I wouldn't argue any 7th console gen pc port against it. Sure some 7th gen ports are likely more demanding that U4 when they had a ton of rendering effects added to them and several lightsources casting shadows at the same time. But the core assets are still most likely the same as the console version. There are many PC exclusives that certainly are more demanding than U4 as well, due to having much more going on at the same time.
But when looking at asset details, the only released pc games that are in the same ballpark, that I can think of are AC Unity and Ryse. I think AC Unity is almost more impressive when taking in the fact that it's open word and all the things going on in that game and it still holds up well to game that is likely very linear. U4 and The Order is not out yet and there are several other graphical powerhouses around the corner as well. They both look great, let's just leave it at that. For a game to be considered "graphics king" it must stand head and shoulders above the competition (like Crysis did in 2007) not trade blows with it.
I have to say the animations for the Order & UC4 look great... Visually both games will not disappoint !!
However i was happy to see the shooting/cover mechanics for The Order look smoother, its going to be a great 2015 for PS4 :)
Glad I am who I am. I can appreciate graphics, but give me a fuckin break. "shirt creases"? I don't masturbate to this shit, but it seems like some of you may. I'm buying UC4 no doubt, because I have enjoyed them all.
@gpuking:
**** yeah man, they're gonna deep throat all those competitions and swallow every last reward. #SDC
I wouldn't be surprised if one of these titles sneaks in with a backdoor goty award.
Didn't your last thread have something to do with manhandling? Not my thing, but good to know you're staying busy.
The Order 1886 looks fantastic. It's the first game that really uses all the next gen bells and whistles in such a small environment other than Ryse.
Uncharted 4 looks great but I think AC Unity still beats UC4 in many areas, despite it being a huge open world with thousands of NPCs.
I mean, just look at this:
The game world is insanely detailed, even down to the little clutter
It's sad there are hardly any PC devs that take advantage of its hardware like this though. Star Citizen is the only one I can think of right now
These shit all over anything any console can achieve, and its from Ubicrap. No wonder these screenshots are being ignored.

@ConanTheStoner lol, man you never fail at making me laugh bro. On a side note, I hate gpuking's threads. He's such an annoying freakin tool. I tend to ignore him and few other cows on this forum since all they do is circlejerk over sony's shit all day.
With that being said,.. you guys that are saying that the graphics of The Order 1886 or Uncharted 4 are dogshit have to be trolling, Lol. Personally, the gameplay showing of either of these games did not "wow" me at all. BUT.., If it's 1 thing that either of those game gets right, it's the graphics. The graphics look really great.

I know this is a fanboy forum, but c'mon guys, call a spade a spade.
I agree the graphics on both the games look great, but there are better out there right now, Ass Unity is one of those game, there are tonnes of PC games running right now at 4k that look better. This thread says that those two Ps4 games rule them all in the graphics when that is flat out delusional.
@sailor232 TBF, AC:U looks great when it's a stillshot, but looks bad when on the move. If only the game had no performance issues, it would've been a fantastic game.
Agreed, hopefully the bugs and glitches will be ironed out. Still I hate Ubisoft with a passion and wont touch that game anyway, UC4 I will play when I get a Ps4.

I totally agree bro. But yea, it's a gpuking thread, so it's pretty much expected. :P
Ass Unity's graphics look phenomenal as well. It's unfortunate that the game has so many technical problems.
No question PS4 will have the best looking games 2015. Some will disagree and say things like Shadow of Mordor looks better or even the Witcher 2.. like in this thread... that is hilarious. No problem lol
The Order and Uncharted are two perfect examples of what comes with consoles. Even though I think it is beginning to change, consoles still maintain the world class art direction/design. The fact The Order and Uncharted are even being compared to 4k high end 10000 dollar pc games is proof of this. There are some creative people at these development houses making very smart design choices/trickery getting the output visual to look this good.

Oh no doubt man. I think Sonys 1st party in general consistently makes great looking games and in the case of Naughty Dog, some of the best looking games. I'll admit I was expecting more from UC4, but only because Naughty Dog has set the bar so high for themselves. And tbh, I think they'll end up cranking it up a good notch before the game finally drops. Bullshit aside, it'll probably be the best looking game on consoles when it releases. The Order will be right up there too. People will nitpick the black bars and the filters and all that, but at the end of the day it's all about the final image on screen. Which so far looks great!
You know what's sad? The Last of Us is already a better game than Uncharted 4. At least there, there was some good risk/reward style gameplay that required thought and skillful execution.
This just looks like every other Uncharted game where you press a button to see something cool happen.
See that's the problem with you. You eat up pcmasterrace posts all day and take them as bible. I get that this was always going to happen though, there would be parts where it looked less than stellar and people would call cows out on it. But ignore that it's looks very good in other parts. The trailer was only showing a close up shot of Drake with no gameplay, so it could only look good. However, if you look at the cutscene at the end of the Gameplay, you see that the animations and characters are every bit as detailed. You don't have to agree that it looks good, since that is subjective, but I can tell you that those animation simulations are pretty top notch. And after all, that was what most people were impressed about with the trailer.
I agree it looks good, but its neither the best looking game, nor the jump you would of expected (admit it.) I was expecting to eat some crow with this game, knowing that.. like The Order is a linear TPS game usually those have the most potential to look the best due to lesser technical demands elsewhere. But here we are..... with a literal carbon clone of its predocessors in some areas (gunplay/movement animations) that embarassingly looks nearly as carbon copy as bloodborne to dark souls in similar departments (e.g you look at bloodborne and notice the exact aninations/interactions) from "Naughty Gods" it's pretty underwhelming.
I'l probably rent/buy it since... I'm desperately trying to justify my PS4 purchase at this point...
But this is System Wars... and I will call it for what it is... a (in my case) less than expected visual jump with the same effortlessly level of detail in the gameplay department (and no ... more location/QTE takedowns is not what im refering to.)
Resolution and AA makes a huge difference of course. But in game assets are the same in both Ryse and AC Unity console and PC versions. So whatever they are doing on the screen on PC, they are on consoles at a lower resolution and framerate. However, I'm sure AC Unity has extra HBAO and draw distances, but the pop in is the same and that's Ubisofts fault. It's not worth it buying a PC 3 times the power to play the game at a stable framerate at 1080p. Again though, Ubi's fault.
Also, Ryse is every bit as linear as The Order. There are several things The Order technically beats Ryse at such as asset detail, dynamic wind physics, etc. The Order was built around the PS4, Ryse was built around the Xbox One as a launch title. Ryse on PC adds resolution, AA and framerate to the picture and that does indeed make a huge difference. But the assets themselves are unchanged. They didn't need to be after all, they were amazing on Xbox One. The Order's cutscenes and animation simulation is all in real time as is Uncharted 4's cutscenes. I'd have to say the animation is best on Uncharted 4 but then Naughty Dog have always excelled at that.
The only objective thing you could say PC beats consoles at when it comes to Ryse is resolution, framerate, AA and certain LOD distances. You are severly downplaying The Order just because it's not coming to PC like Ryse did. And the stupid thing is, if The Order came to PC like Ryse, hermits would be saying how fantastic it looked in 1440p 60fps even if they didn't change a single graphical asset just like they didn't Ryse. Hermits were downplaying Ryse before it came to PC and that's fact. You only take notice of games when they are coming to PC. That's ignorant.
The majority who were downplaying Ryse were cows and many of them were in denial once they saw that UC4 didn't look better than Ryse. Look up some old threads on Ryse. Most didn't even care about Ryse it was always a cow vs lem.
And developers can easily make cutscenes look better than actual gameplay when transitioning between them. The way UC4 looked in actual gameplay did not seem consistent with what we saw in the first trailer. People were expecting asset to look way better than what we seen in the gameplay.
