UC4 looks amazing.. 1886 looks really good but the gameplay seems "limited".. Still getting it though.
So, it is finally confirmed that 900pStation didn't even get to touch Crysis 2. What a shame. All it has is 10000 more polys for Drake's character for cutscenes. Ah...embarrassing.
Eurogamer is also saying UC4 is already downgraded since the teaser of E3
While his facial structure appears comparable, the quality of his hair is reduced significantly while lighting and shading lack the sense of realism presented in the teaser, and the detail of his bandolier and shirt also seems pared back.
Naughty Dog may simply be keeping its powder dry for now, but the visuals seen in this gameplay segment aren't quite the jaw-dropping spectacle we had hoped for based on the immense promise of the E3 teaser.
@scottpsfan14:
Sorry? I'm being ignorant? Did you read any of my replies to you? Allow me to quote myself,
"Resolution is as important in graphical display as good lighting. How much better would the Order look in 4k at 60fps, without the letter boxing? Or how much worse would Star Citizen look in 800p @ 30fps."
At no point did I deride Ryse when it was firmly an Xbox One title and not a hint that it would appear on PC, check my posting history if you like. You may want to look over your shoulder sat your own preferred faction for those comments.
I couldn't give a sh*t about The Order not coming to PC, the devs are pulling every scam in the modern book of how to trick your customers and PS4 fans are eating every piece of dung they are being fed. Constant cut scenes, press X to win QTE's, small environments and restricted linear corridors, spawns of 2 or 3 enemies running into the scene to give the illusion of an intense fight, narrowed screen (black bars) and still claiming it's 1080p, over use of DoF and motion blur, severe lack of shadows (outside of cut scenes), hell they even tried to pull the 24fps is more cinematic crap. No thanks, don't want it and I hope the Sony fans see the light and allow it to die the death it deserves. It wouldn't even be useful as a benchmark, unlike Ryse. Their baked lighting is good though.
As for PC versions only having an increased resolution or AA, please read through this list and tell what options the PS4 has available to it (far easier than me listing what isn't)
