The Nintendo DS is not a console, but a handheld system.

Quality > Quantity.

Doesnt matter who sells the most, doesnt really benefit you except the developers and makers.

I doubt that being outsold for a couple of months means the Wii is dying. If it was outsold massively for a year in all markets, then the momentum would be dying, And when a console sells as well as the Wii, sales are going to have to slow down sometime, or we'll have one in every room. As more Wiis are sold, less people buy them, until eventually everyone who wants a Wii has one. Doesn't mean that it's dead.

interesting... yet, in 2009, the Wii is the #1 selling console in the UK. (according to this)

looks like the Wii has outsold the 360 by 600,000 units in 2009 so far...

So in 3 of the top 4 console markets for the 360 & PS3 (USA, UK, Japan & Canda) the 360 is outselling the PS3 by a considerable distance, where exactly is the PS3 selling enough for cows to proclaim it a worldwide leader in sales, exactly?

And while it might be interesting to point out that one or other has managed to outsell the Wii for a week/month some place, remember when you talk about sales the Wii will still outsell the other 2 combined for the year pretty much everywhere.
