But they have been made multiple genres of games, and have been steady with lots of critical acclaim.

But what if there are greater developers? Nintendo? Valve?

Nintendo likely has more critical acclaim in their pinky finger than ND has in their whole outfit. Also, explain how you apply default respect to a company like the one I outlined.

Have you played Uncharted 2? (Only on the PS3) It easily has the best story in the video game medium. (Only on the PS3) An amazing style of gameplay (Only on the PS3) And comes with graphics that we won't see again until the next generation. (Only on the PS3)

lol cmon guys i love the ps3 but how is naughty dog winning this? bioware track record and blizzardsd is far better but ha, its based on opinion so what can i say . But i did like crash alot as a kid one of the fist games i played on playstation good memories and love the uncharted series

I think thats pretty much what everyone is thinking. I know thats what I was thinking when I saw the poll. Naughty Dog...and no 'other' option. They're plenty of other studios from Valve to Nintendo to Bethesda to Rockstar that are far more deserving to be on that list. Hell, even Ubisoft and EA are more deserving.

And conversely, that's why I didn't bring Valve back....because all they seem to make are 1st person shooter/perspective type games which pigeon holes them.

you should probably learnw what critical acclaim is, becuase the only game they've made thats critically acclaimed is Uncharted 2.

Your reasoning suggests Nintendo are far more deserving to be on the list than ND. Lets have a look at their resume?

• Starting making games in the 1970s
• Have not only made games but gaming consoles (Its the Sony PS3, not the ND PS3)
• SAVED THE FRICKING NORTH AMERICAN GAMING INDUSTRY WITH THE NES
• Have made SO MANY MORE critically acclaimed games than ND
• And since your love for them is clearly only based on Uncharted series, both SMG 1 and SMG 2 have far outranked them this gen in reviews and sales
• And finally, if you want to talk variety, Nintendo have developed 2D and 3D platformers, action adventures, puzzle games, shooting games, kart racing games, simulation games and stragedy games
