Uncharted 2 Gets a Horde-like Mode

Wow when team Xbox said be prepared to see horde mode copied by every game out their, they were 100% true. I guess Gears Of War 2 had a positive impact on the shooting genre after all.

LOL I love that game, it was really hard though but man it was long especially compared to games these days. And you know it was a great game because it had win in the freaking title.

pretty sure it was an actual mode. During the unreal 04 days I never downloaded mods.. and played this exact mode (but done better)

Isn't Horde ModeSurvival Mode as seen in other games?

Zone of Enders, to name one game, had this type of gameplay before Gears.

Horde mode is no different than survival mode.

I was hoping Resistance 2 was gonn have a survival mode that would be either multiplayer or single player. Unfortunately, they let me down in that regard.

Sounds good to me. Yes this kind of mode has been done before (gears2, Left4Dead,etc..), but this sounds like a great addition to a game that alreayd looks good.

Sounds great. Horde mode with a twist :). Uncharted 2 is looking better and better.

EDIT: The only reason I cited Horde is because it's a recent and popular interpretation of this kind of co-op. Also, Uncharted 2 looks to be better for having it than not.

Ok that's it. All this time I have been assuming MW2 was my main game this fall. Uncharted 2 is slowly taking that crown. I've wanted a Horde-like mode in a PS3 game. I love my multiplayer but I also love co-op and need more of it. this sounds great

How did you not play Winback!? I loved that game on the N64 just because it was different and actually fun. In fact I just bought a copy on the PS2 for 4 bucks total. Should be fun, I'm looking forward to it. Wonder if there is voice acting in it...

Well...its really true. Left4Dead, HaloODST and now Uncharted2! they all have horde like modes :o

Don't forget CoD:WaW's zombie mode.

There were "horde" modes before GeOW.

Seeing how horde mode in Geow2 is my favoriteone, am sure i'll enjoy U2's mp even more with this similar mode..

wow, horde mode was the ONLY reason i mildly enjoyed gears 2 online, now Uncharted 2 has it :D awesome game, awesome.

wow, horde mode was the ONLY reason i mildly enjoyed gears 2 online, now Uncharted 2 has it :D awesome game, awesome.

it was ashame that uncharted DF didnt have stuff like this. if it did i would have bought it. but uncharted 2 is looking to be "the" perfect game. :D
