Uncharted 2 Gets a Horde-like Mode

Zone of Enders, to name one game, had this type of gameplay before Gears.

Horde mode is no different than survival mode.

I was hoping Resistance 2 was gonn have a survival mode that would be either multiplayer or single player. Unfortunately, they let me down in that regard.

Kay. Just saying, why does ever new release have to be so ridiculously over hyped? I mean, I'm anticipating this game as much as everyone, but it seems like every new PS3 exclusive has to be the best at something, best graphics, best platforming, best physics, most innovative, best something. You know that hype has been completely overblown when the word "perfect" starts getting tossed around. You say it will be perfect like that is even remotely possible. You say it will be perfect like anything has the actual ability to be perfect. Also, once Starcraft 2 drop kicks U2 out of the GotY spot, I'm going to make a thread and dedicate it especially to you.pyromaniac223

It tried to have a plot.

And what else has it taken? a cover system? again because no games before hand had it? Does gears have platforming and stealth kills? Or wait is it copying the cutscenes too? Is Drake searching for his wife kidnapped by an underground monster race?

Seriously I think people are just looking and nitpicking some really stupid ass things. Hell this mode even has an objective other then hide in a corner and not die.

If you acknowledge that Gears didn't first innovate survival mode, then why are you still calling Naughty Dog Plagiarists in the context of this thread. Pariah-

These Flame wars are awesome!!!!!! PC vs PS3 fanboys, I can't believe that they are actually taking on PC. A game format that pretty much shaped the entire industry, in the 90's! Whatever PS3 produces, PC does twice as better.

Good for Uncharted 2. Halo ODST is getting it's own one as well. And yet, I am sick of hearing complaints about how gears 2 online sucks, because it's definetely the game I play the most online...
