I could also say that Halo 3 is the most overrated game this gen because it's exactly the same as Halo 2, the graphics in Halo 3 have been surpassed by games that came out before and during 2007, and that the online isn't all that special or original. This, however, is a load of BS because there is no such thing as being "overrated." The quality of a game is decided upon the person playing the game, and if someone thinks that Halo 3 is 'the best game evar' then it is the best game evar to them.
However, if someone finds that Halo 3 is a load of tripe because, more than likely, they can't play it and it's gotten far more popularity than "Game Zed Prt 12" on the Ps3, then they deem that game "overrated" and "overhyped." These people will then scourge the internet forums and say that it is "overrated," and will eventually get backlash from the fans of the game up the bum. All this fighting is trivial, though, because whether something is overrated or not is all a matter of opinion and, thus, unable to be proven because opinions are not facts. We can determine fact FROM opinion, though; for example, if a graph shows up on the internet saying that a large majority of the population pefer Halo 3 over Uncharted, then a fact can be made saying that 'more people perfer Halo 3 than Uncharted.'
But, I digress. I've found that most people call a game "overrated" on the internet because either; A) They can't play it, B) It has a large fanbase, or C) Some other idotic reason. Although, I have met some people who have good reasons for ot liking something. Unfortunatly, not many of those people seem to come here.
