It's a perfictly resonable claim. Considering almost all screenshots for console games have been touched up this gen.

I remember the days when gamers would say, "Wow! I hope the game does look that good when it comes out." instead of, "Those screen shots are touch ups! That game will never look that good." sighs fanboys have grown to massive numbers.

Damn, Gears 2 reign as console graphics king is gonna be short lived. A lot of things about Gears 2 has been short lived, including its domination on XBL.

after playing Uncharted i was already looking forward to its sequel... but with the latest vid & these screenshots am now getting hyped way too much :)

definately a game to look forward to.... if uncharted 2 contains also a co-op mode then it will be amazing...

It's just different uses of color. Gears or Killzone are just darker games. Uncharted just brighter. I wouldn't want to play Gears with bright pink and red colors. That's all it is. Nothing new. It doesn't have better graphics. They're pretty much equal.

As great as the pictures look, i just don't see it possible. Usually most games actually look horrible on pictures, and only really look good when in motion or if you are watching it first hand. This just seems a tad bit too good to be true for me. Or it could be the slight cell shading artstyle in it :P

if you actually played part one then its not hard to believe that the game will look that good. part 1 looked amazing and it came out awhile ago. i still believe that the images are touched up though, just because 9 times out of 10 they are.

I just wish this was like a open ended game where you could free roam like in jak it would make it a whole lot more appealing and they just know how to build such captivating worlds to explore,

lol, you try to hard. Uncharted 2 in those pics already shows better lighting, color and more better textures and those are just EARLY screens. As for your gears 2 comment....why bother comparing a finished product to one thats still in development?

am i the only one that thinks the models looked a lot better in the first one? i mean look at his arm, the cloth folds, etc. i guess it still has time to get better, but i think 1 looked better so far apart from some of the environments (the city).

lmfao fanboy, the resolution displayed in those screenshots is insane! Forget 1080P, just look at all the edges their are no jaggies! You know what kinda resolution you have to run a game at for it to be that jaggy free?

7,680 × 4,320 pixels + 4xAA

And those screenshots might be even higher then that!

Thats a whopping 33 Megapixels!

Uncharted 1 ran at the garbage jagfest resolution that is 720P which isn't even 1 megapixel! :lol:
