Uncharted 3 beta comes to an end. Interestiing Beta stats revealed.

Your stats are all based on UC3 being an open beta. The first week of the Gears 3 beta was for Bulletstorm owners and VIP. While everyone on PS3 had access to it. Can`t make it any more simple. Let`s compare the stats when the games release. UC3 will get stomped because 7k people will be playing the MP after a month like UC2.Grawse

Uncharted 3: Open Beta Gears of War 3: Close Beta Case Closed on that a long time ago. Still awesome numbers and I'm glad to hear (since I couldn't play it) this UC MP might actually be worth sticking to, possibly becoming TPS' MP 1st choice for some.moose_knuckler

Not to mention that everyone had access to the UC beta before July 5th because everyone got a free month of Playstation Plus and could get the beta early, due to the abomination called the PSN hack! :lol:

I loved the beta. Didn't play it constantly but loved it nonetheless. Though flawed, the game is pure fun.

All shooter require team work dude,from Warhawk to Resistance,from Halo to Gears,Socom,COD all require team work Uncharted is not different either,which bring me to the second point,team work and Party Chat don't mix well,reason why Activison even turn it off in some mode on COD if i am not mistaken. Party chat restrict your ability to talk to team mates. If you are party chatting it mean you are talking with people out side the game you are playing,if i want to communicate with you,i can't because you are talking to other people out side the game we are playing.Which basically kill any team work effort. It happen to me on Gears,and on Halo Reach as well,and it will happen again when i buy Gears 3 and a 3 month pass to play the game latter on.tormentos

I'm glad you completely ignore what was stated by Microsoft in that Gears 3 was a closed beta. No matter how you try and justify things it was closed.

It was invite. You had to buy Bulletstorm "360 EPIC Edition" or Pre order the game to get the invite. It wasn't open to the public so everyone could play for free...

Well to be fair quite frankly, GEARS of War only hasa good userbase in US and uk. while uncharted fanbase is spread all around the world. gears1 and 2 did not see release in germany (360 sales over there are terrible). With that being said, Gears is a tedious multiplayer game. I only liked the horde mode. everything else was clunky and frustrating.

What exactly are you trying to prove showing Uncharted 3's beta got more players. Gears is gonna annihilate Uncharted in actual sales. Uncharted's single player will probably be better though.

Nobody here ever said Uncharted would sell more. I realize the thought of someone saying this greatly afflicts with some people's emotions, but I don't believe anyone has said that in this whole thread. >.>

Uncharted 1 sold 3.5 million and counting while Uncharted 2 as crossed the 4 million mark and counting. people act as if gears does halo numbers or something. it does not.

who cares? its won more GOTY awards than the Gears of war series. How do you spin the amount of years worth of play for both games? Gears 3 beta has 249 years, while unchated 3 beta as 362 years worth of play. Gears 3 beta lasted a month, UC3 beta lasted 17 days. How do you spin these figures. tke it for what it is and move on.

and I barely played the darn thing. Well that's what I get for playing different Games.

Holy ice cream on a driveway in the 4th of July, people cannot aim at all. Luckily I used the Dragon Snpier, so no spray and pray for me :D.

Considering the recoil in that game, I'm nor surprised there are a lot of shots fired. Ever try shooting a player far away with the AK47 in time before they run away? You'll end up missing a lot of shots.
