I love Uncharted, but even I thought this was fool's gold. I think it was 1.2 million sold in a week according to VGChartz, which is VERY impressive fora PS3 exclusive. Hopefully more people buy this game.

But selling almost 4 million units in one day is COD/Battlefield/Grand Theft Auto territory. It took Gears a week to reach 3 million, and Gears is huge in the U.S sales wise.

GT5 is almost at 7 million, and I'm pretty sure Uncharted 3 won't catch it before this gen is over or at all.

When people have been saying all day that its not possible it was "suck it lems " Now the truth comes out and its "well obvious, it was to retailers" BS!! this game did not sell as much as Gears 3 in its first week and I knew it didnt. PS3 games do not sell that kind of volume on average and then all of a sudden "boom" it sells 3.8 in one day? More then any other exclusive this gen??? and there were no boasts and accolades?? I kinda just wanted them to enjoy it and felt like what a game success like an Halo Reach or Gears felt like. To the fans who thought it was true. It was kinda of exciting wasn't it? I don't mean to be disrespectful in any way. Just an honest question.

I've always said this from the very begining. But its true. Sony does some shady things. I don't know why can't they just say shipped. But whatever. It's something I've come to expect from them. I wouldn't trust anything Sony says.
