It looks nice, but like everyone is saying it's gotten so scripted at this point you can basically call nearly the entire game a cinimatic. And the textures aren't that astonding.

If I wanted to watch some thing that is that cinimatic I'd watch a movie. The problem is the whole game looks to be leaning towards such.

Like I said, just make a poll. Then we can all see for sure.

I just got to watch the demo, and damn: looks phenominal. Probably the best animations I've seen in a game, honestly.

Regarding the scripted events, most of that demo allowed for player control. You can move around on the first rooftop before jumping onto the ladder (before the cut scene). On the second rooftop and cargo trailers, the player has the option to stealth kill, shoot, or melee the enemies. Then, the player decided to leap onto the enemy and kill him rather than shoot from his previous position. That's not scripted.

Here are the uncontrollable events: gate closes, deterring Drake's path (whoa, oh no), plane wheel is retracted (remember, the player actually has to make the jump themself :P), and while the sequence with mini-boss with the turban on is partly scripted, the player has control over the punches.

Of course there will be scripted events, but I don't this this should cause any worries.

Besides, this was only 7 minutes long! With about of minute worth of cut scenes.

Not many games have tremendous replay value now-a-days, but Uncharted has always series I've gone back to. An experience that got better the second time, for me. :)

Well, for a while, I was playing around with different colored text (blue was my favorite), to add some uniqueness (something I like to see for myself). But some posters use the white background (which is terrible, lol) and certain colors don't show appropriately. Then I settled on bold, which a good friend of mine, SolidTy uses, and I thought it was nice. I guess it became something gang-related; like how crips wear blue, where a few of my buddies and I bold our text. :P

Looks much more entertaining than Gears 3's redundant cover shooting. Still waiting on Vanquish 2 for a true TPS fix though :(

Wow, that really looks fantastic. Can't wait. I'm not psyched for too many games, but this is definitely one of them.

GeoW isn't in the same league as far as gameplay goes, so I don't see why it's even considered a competitor.

Looks good. I'm looking forward for the single player most, especially with the Uncharted franchise.

danng, I may havet to cross that line again and go back over to the ps3. Playing with friends is all nice and all but betrayed at its finest never felt so right!

BTW, this game's gfx don't look any better than Gears 3. Especially in this vid. But they look as good, and better than most console games.

Seen direct feed and it doesn't look any better to be honest. In particular, there were tons of directfeed comparisons between the Uc3 and Gears 3 betas. They both look about the same to me.

Dude. No it's not much better looking. Gears 3 and Uncharted 3 are REALLY HIGH for console standards. They are essentionally on par with each other with their own strengths and weaknesses.Maybe you just prefer the art style. The textures are not as good as Gears 3 due to a lesser amount of AF.

Also I'm getting tired of ND using video files for cutscenes.

It would have been cool if this scene was realtime.Nate's scarf looks a bit low-res in texture qualty.

And here's an epic bullshot from Naughty Dog to end this post. It looks great. But not on another level. Maybe when Wii-U exclusives start popping up.

I don't know wich game is techinally superior on the graphics department

but artistically, i'm sure that Uncharted 3 is a winner here

That's basically how I feel. Technically they seem to trade blows, but I find Naughty Dog's artistic direction in Uncharted more appealing.

Looks pretty sweet. Definitely gonna be a thrill ride like UC2 was the first time through.

Are people forgetting that Gears of war 3 does 4 player co-op and still looks as good as uncharted 3(Single player)? Horde mode with tons of enemies, more destruction, more variety in enemies? I mean i love Uncharted (Drakes Fortune more than Among Thieves because of the whole scripted events thing) but i feel that people are turning their blind eye here. It looks impressive and all but 12 hour gameplay in gears (thats what epic is saying) Beast mode, Horde mode. While there is co-op in Uncharted it is not as big as Gears and i wasn't that impressed with the Adventure mode (co-op) in the beta tbh but thats just my opinion Hoznary
