Still keeping 2016 strong though.

Quantum Break should attempt to step up their release by a couple weeks so it can enjoy a longer stretch of attention while it can, because surely when Uncharted 4 releases it'll be the center of attention.
Anyhow, I'm curious, is his move a needed move to smooth over online issues discovered in beta, or just polish the game just a little more. Or would Sony rather have this game release after the fiscal year ends to strengthen its stock when they release their fiscal report to keep stock prices healthy? Or maybe they're doing good enough this fiscal year and want to start next year off with a bang?
@quadknight: "This gen and it's broken and buggy games has taught me the value of patience when it comes to game releases."
You should of learned that last Gen.
Talk about lowered expectations.
I'm calling out @SolidTy: he acted as if Quantum Break hadn't had a solid release date and constantly downplayed the fact it has one and I told him I'd worry more about Uncharted having a delay first.
This reminds me a lot of when Batman Arkham Knight got delayed. Even down to fan responses.
I hope it turns out better for it and not like Arkham Knight which ended the series on not so good a note.
Could this be another genius Sony move in delaying it a few weeks? They delayed it this year because they didn't want it going up against the big hitters or so cows have been saying. Can Sony BE anymore of genius?
On a serious note, I guess this blows the theory cows had about this years launch.
That is not why is got delayed the first time.
It got delayed to 2016 because the team change hands, Amy Henning ad a few left and TLoU crew took over.
I know that's not why it got delayed but you might want to let a few cows in on that. They're the ones saying it was a genius move by Sony to delay the game based on other games being released. I was just making fun of that theory is all. Having a little fun while I sit at my desk
never saw any cows saying that.

The game was pushed back a month, big deal? Not, who cares? The line up for 2016 remains the same.
The onslaught of 2016 remains nearly unaltered, proceed with operation xbox downfall.
What a way to deflect.
He's not wrong, PS4's 2016 lineup is stacked, a one month delay of the biggest PS4 game next year from March to April doesn't actually change anything, though it could mean Uncharted eat's Quantum Break's lunch.

It happened but does it really matter? I'm just having fun but yeah it was said even if in jokingly manner

First of all, huh?
Second of all, did Quantum Break release yet? So, it may still be delayed yet again then, yah? Do you understand how calling out works?
Third of all, I said I wanted Quantum Break on time as an Xbone owner and longtime fan of Remedy (before most of the typical users around here), but due to the developer I simply was skeptical and told others that kept listing Quantum Break in their 2014, and 2015 release dates to be wary. Quantum Break is now slated for 2016, so I was already right. The ambitious TV show approach has me worried on the timeline, but rest assured I know I'm in for a 80+/100 metacritic experience.
None of this or anything I had to say about QB have to do with Uncharted 4 though. I never once related the two games. Do you think I made Uncharted or something? What about other delays games? Why not call out the delays on Nintendo's Miitomo, Homefront: Revolution, Zelda, No Man's Sky, Tom Clancy's Division...etc. Am I to expect when a delay happens, you are going to want to post about it and randomly call my name?
Delays happen all the time across the industry. That said, some developers are more notorious than others. However, you are comparing this Uncharted monthly delay with my wait for Alan Wake from mid 2005 to 2010? Right now, both games are slated for 2016, so they have that in common.
None of this have to do with any games that get delayed. If you want to discuss Uncharted 4, then feel free. Not sure why you brought up QB in an Uncharted 4 thread other than reveal your state of mind.
I'm calling you out for fanboyin, amigo.

Good post.
Where you are as ambitious as Naughty Gods, maker of 2 top 5 GOATs, are with this piece of gaming history, let them take their time and get as they envision. Let your dreams become your games.

The line up for 2016 remains the same, it does indeed...and PS4 gamers don't have to wait for the holiday window to experience fantastic AAA developed exclusive games.

That's a fantastic point....Bravo!
Why was there even a comparison to the two developers as one of them created 2 of the top 5 GOATS? Solid observations skills. The crew behind those GOATS need to ensure their current project is up to snuff before releasing it into the world.
I guess if someone is intent on looking at only release dates but goes out of their way to never play a Naughty God game simply because of an odd anti-platform fixation, that jealousy could boil over and create awkward situations like this. That's why I'll be playing both Uncharted 4 and Quantum Break when they release, to form my opinion properly, just like I know you will! :P
The last time Naughty Dog delayed a game twice we got The Last of Us, a 95 MC, 200 GOTY awards game.
RIP Quantum Break and Ratchet and Clank.
@lostrib: Surprised your vapid moribund intellectual nonexistence can actually exist in the first place.
O.O
The last time Naughty Dog delayed a game twice we got The Last of Us,
8.0 movie game. I'm glad GS doesn't fall for the casual hype.
@Salt_The_Fries: looks like someone found the thesaurus
If you two can't play nice, you'll have a nice Christmas break from Gamespot.
@Bread_or_Decide: some games have more depth than mario tennis, party and kirby rainbow curse so they take a little while longer lol
Mentioning Uncharted and depth in the same sentence...LOL...you crack me up.
@quadknight: "This gen and it's broken and buggy games has taught me the value of patience when it comes to game releases."
You should of learned that last Gen.
Nah, this gen has been particularly bad when it comes to buggy games. It's worse than last gen by far.
Salty walks in calls people out and insults others. lol man guy needs a long break from this place. MS losing the war sure made the lems paranoid.
While delays suck, I rather have a delay than receive an unfinished / rushed product.
Who said you were going to get a finished/ unrushed product ? you get your game and a 30 GB update to fix the bugs followed later by a couple more updates to iron out what the first update couldn´t fix.
By the time ND finishes that game it will be released in the next gen.
You must've mixed em up with Ubisoft.
@kratosyoloswag: so we can expect UC4 to flop?
Maybe if Tom McShea comes back to do the review, but then again he did give The Last Of Us: Left Behind AAAE status.

I wouldn't be shocked if uncharted 4 got an 8 because TLOU did get an 8 on gamespot. I think the game will get a safe 9 on gamespot.I just don't feel uncharted 4 can get a 10 especially on Gamespot right now.
Good they are delaying this game to make it better, but I think people should lower their expectations. It's way to early to declare this game GOTY 2016 because it could easily not do as well critically compared to some of ND's recent games like TLOU.
lol PS4 delays another title. Im not surprised since Uncharted 4 pretty sure was not even finished and just another stupid release date so people think the game is coming soon in March but in reality it was not even done lol.
Well only game sony has for 2016 early is SF5. Im willing to bet that Horizon wil be delayed until 2017. Along with Last Guardian ( Dont give a shit for this ugly turd lol) for polish aka not done.
Well at least Quantum Break comes out April 5 along with Killer Instinct Season 3/ along with Cuphead.
The Witness, Street Fighter V, Firewatch, Alienation, Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted 4 all release in April or earlier.
You know the Xbone's lineup is bad when you have to include Season 3 of Killer Instinct LOL
@Bread_or_Decide: some games have more depth than mario tennis, party and kirby rainbow curse so they take a little while longer lol

Agreed. As fun as it is, Uncharted is pretty much all surface.
