I know we're talking opinions here and if I was to score the TC's opinion, I'd give it a 1.0.
Uncharted had better production values and its cover system was implemented better.
That's about it. As for the shootouts themselves, they were far more high octane and exciting in GTAIV. Three-Leaf Clover, Deconstruction for Beginners, Museum Peice, If the Price is Right and Hostile Negotiation were all EPIC shooutouts that I just didn't experience the likes of in Uncharted.
IMO, Uncharted is an 8ish kind of game. I think it is seriously overrated by Sony fans. It's a very good game, and it's a verypure kind of game, but I don't feel it does enough to set itself apart from other games.
GTA IV does. It is far more ambitious as far as its game environment, the dialogue in it is far more interesting than that in Uncharted (Uncharted is full of corny, popcorn chomper sort of dialogue), and it's just more clever in general.
I seriously don't get how anybody can like the story in Uncharted better. It's a pedestrian, placeholder kind of story. GTA's gameplay was actually designed around the story. It seems like alot more thought was put into it.
