I don't think GS is against giving the PS3 an AAAe.

Just depends on the reviewers. Hopefully, Jeff does this one. He's usually spot on with most games (imo).

Graphics: best on any console

Gameplay: Awesome

Sound: Awesome

Deff. a buy from me :D

It'll be worth renting. Melee is fun although the guns could use some improvement. They don't have a very powerful feeling, AK takes too many shots to kill, and they too easily dodge the pistol and it's a bit too unaccurate for the primary firearm.Thompsonwhore

please god let the fat guy who did the r+c one do it...lol it would be hilarious to see him say "the gameplay is awsome...but there is too much vareity" "the story is great, so is the sounds, but the story needs some improvment"

I can't believe he actually said "too much variety" like it was bad... Isn't that what makes games good? That doesn't make any sense at all.

Oh give me a break. Gamespots score of Blue Dragon was fairly consistent with everybody elses. You look on Gamerankings.com and GS score was pretty similar. Look at GS review of Ratchet and Clank and its the second lowest score out of about 30 websights. Is GS biast? Maybe not but they need to pick there reveiwers better for there games. How you have a guy who rates sports games rating platformers is simply unacceptable.

My favorite genre is Action Adventure so if I worked for Gamespot I should be reviewing the next Ninja Gaiden or Devil May Cry not Madden08.

Well at least your downloading it, its staying stuck at the "please wait" screen to enter the Playstation Store, there must be a crap load of people downloading it right now, or they must be doing something to the store right now in my area.

hmm thats weird i had no problems DLing it what so ever.. it went pretty fast... even though its 1.2GB... also wireless...

neways the demo was SICK i hype this game AAA, the movements to natural, the gunfights amazing, you can shoo while haning on ledged and move in and out of cover... SOOO MUCH FUNNN you can climb like anything and yea.....cool game btw hah...

My impressions,

As far as I have experienced, the game is nothing but gaming GOODNESS. Honestly, I was a bit skeptic about it at first (anyone remeebr that waterskiing video? lol)

In all seriousness, the gameplay is thight, the gunplay is fun and exciting, the hand to hand is so fun and so very very brutal, the AI actually knows what it's doing, very likeable main characters, graphics are gorgeous and very fun first experience.

Folks, the PS3 may have it first solid GOTY.
