Uncharted > Alan Wake

Seriously, look at the visuals in both games. Uncharted has amazing animation and beautifully detailed environments. Alan Wake on the other hand looks like a Half-Life 2 mod but without the expressive characters. Just look at these two screens. I mean, Uncharted looks so much livelier and vibrant it's not even funny. Alan wake looks dull and uninspired, and it doesn't look like it really has any particular tricks up it's sleeve that are going to turn anyone's head. And if you need an example of how Uncharted's animation trumps Alan Wake's without seeing them in motion, just look at the facial expressions on the characters! The hero in Uncharted shows a look of fear and determination that you'd expect to see, where as Alan Wake has a completely blank expression while the world around him goes to $@&*.The animation in Alan Wake is downright bad, and the graphics themselves are nothing special. And yet this game for some reason appears on virtually every hype list you'll see posted here. Clearly though, from a visual standpoint at the very least, Uncharted owns it in almost every way imaginable.

yup this is what I'm waiting for.... I believe the only video footage shown so far of AW was from a QUAD-core CPU setup..... how much will that cost.......?

Now, you can get them for under $3000, but by the time AW is out Quad will probably have become standard and dropped in price.

We've barely seen anything from Alan Wake. And based on your pics I'd say Alan Wake looks much better than Uncharted with its plastic character and TERRIBLE textures. Also neither of those shots is gameplay making them useless anyway. Though I'd say Uncharted can't afford to look worse, look at the grass, and the shiny character.

Alan Wake on the PCis technically and graphically the closest thing to Crysis. You don't even have a clue what you're talking about.DA_B0MB

Alan Wake is at leas at U2 and KZ2 level. Let alone Uncharted1. It was beaten by Gears series long time ago

Guys, graphics mean everything. Don't worry about the games playing completely different, graphics are the only thing that matter. :roll:
