I'd rather pay double the amount of a PS3 on a graphics card than pay for a game that looks the same as it did last year at E3.

They have still made big improvements with DX 9 it's not as if DX 10 will be night and day compared to it. Either way the game will look amazing and much better than anything on the PS3/360 

It kinda is, since DX 10 has a lot of new technology in it.  I could show you the comparisons if you didn't already see them.

Yeah Crysis pretty much destroys just about every game coming out, it does have contenders, but I doubt they'll win.

That screenshot posted is horrible. Seriously WHO could think that looks better than mass effect? Look at all the lumps on the edges of his arms and clothing. its just disgusting

if us lemmings have gone blind, it's because we have been staring at beautiful games and graphics all day will you cows  have been waiting for something to play. anything to play.

we have accepted the truth. the truth is that the 360 produces some of the best games this gen and that cows wasted $600 with nothing to show for it "bu..bu..teh blu-ray". i can now see why sony put a blu-ray drive in the ps3. they put it there to give cows something to do while they wait for years for a game to come out. 

i dunno man, this game has great animations but the textures and models look like something from last gen, like farcry on PC.

i'll definitely need a demo before buying this one - no preorder for me ;)

Ah Mass effect's faces look great very similar to Crysis' detail in the face models. These look like clay with lube smeared over it. Splinter Cell Conviction looks better no wonder Ubisoft said the PS3 couldnt run it.

Funny that Uncharted looks almost exactly the same as it did last year at E3.  Ratchet and Clank? I never mentioned that game, because that game actually looks good.  A hell of a lot better than Uncharted.  Show me a pic that makes Uncharted look better than Mass Effect...

That ME pic has jaggies.  And besides, there are better pics than the one I put above that are from now.

 if you want more proof that this game looks amazing, read this 1up preview where they basically say that this game is absolutely amazing-looking.

Honestly... those pics don't look that good at all.  For one thing, they are all riddled with jaggies.  The textures don't look that good either.

cows brought this on themselves. they where the first to start saying uncharcted looks better than mass effect in this thread and in the thread that showed the lasted mass effect pics. consoles don't tap out after 6 months to one year, granted you have a good point there, but devs need to show the public what the console is capable of in its infancy. the launch games of the 360 where merely highly polished last gen games in HD, but when april came around, the first true next-gen game came out (GRAW) and showed what a $400 console was capable of in it early life. this game doesn't justify such a hefty price tag.

I got the uncharted pic from the PLAYSTATION WEBSITE, and downloaded it high res just like mass effect.
