Juicy. Nothing bad in the game? That was a surprise. What you think system warriors?
Another AAA exclusive for the PS4.
Meanwhile on Xbone......
A truly difficult time to be a lem. Take heart lems, at least you've got Crackh.......never mind lol.
I'm really looking forward to it regardless that Drake, Elena and Sully won't be in it. Uncharted is my favorite series and I'm glad it's continuing. I'm also glad that I got the triple pack season pass at $25 which saved me nearly 50%.
I will say that I'm disappointed in two aspects:
1. No steelbook edition regardless that they are saying it's a full game now. Thus, it won't match the other Uncharted games on my shelf.
2. No strategy guide (collectors or not) being released. As this is the only series I buy them for, this is yet another part that will be missing and not matching on my shelf.
No hype yet scores a 9.
Another AAA game to add to the library.
When's the last time an exclusive Xbone game scored a 9?
:P Since before the White Walkers were made.
I figured it would be good. I'll get it when it hits $20 though because I didn't buy the season pass and I refuse to pay $15 more than what I could have got it for.
inb4 lemmings claim the whole internet, including Gamespot, are managed by a secret cow association that in conjunction with the Illuminati, have the evil purpose of undermining the Xbox and making lemmings suffer painful spasms in their behinds and cry constantly
This is going to be good.
My exact reaction when I saw the review score LUL
Same for me. So far it has an 86 on metacritic.

Still not interested considering how dull UC4 is.
Same here. 3 was disappointing, 4 even more. I don't care about the series anymore. ND should make a new IP or go back to Platformers
So taking away the automatic extra 2 points it gets for being a ND game, in reality it's probably a 7 or so.
Anyway I'm looking forward to seeing what it's like at my cousin's house.

Pathetic damage control even by lemming low standards.

There have been so many AAA games that have come out of PS4 this year that Sony fans seem to have gotten tired of hyping.
Or it could be the lack of competitiveness or lack of content from xbox one fans who only seem to want to discredit Sony titles in every thread, but don't provide a better xbox alternative or try to make any hype threads themselves.

Are you the same guy who talks about "cows" being the worst group of fanboys?
It's funny how people who like to make negative accusations about others being this way or that way tend to be the worst offenders of that specific accusation.
You gave a short post but filled with delusion, jealousy and completed with a trusty old conspiracy theory to bring the "cows" home.
Good job buddy, you just went full FB, and I'm not talking about facebook.

Fudge Bunny? :D
Ign, 7.5. good writing and characters, too familiar gameplay and empty open world.
"A good open-world map promotes and rewards exploration and curiosity, but Uncharted's seems to actively punish those things in several ways. It fills the environment with surfaces that appear climbable but are insurmountable. Nothing destroys your momentum quite like running up to a pillar that you assume you can scramble up, only to have Chloe bump off of it awkwardly. Likewise, there are several spots throughout Lost Legacy with jumps that appear easily doable, but if you attempt them you’ll find yourself dead for no apparent reason. Finally, while there are dozens of collectable trinkets scattered across the world, there’s no real incentive for seeking them out. For a game that’s ultimately about a group of people trying to find treasure, I was disappointed to walk away from this open-world experiment empty handed."
Enjoy your 9.... Pass.

That's the conclusion I'd normally come to as well.
Hmm I should have made things more clear or some could confuse what I said to be some kind of chocolate covered treat :'(

:P It's 85 on MC, IGNorant strikes again.
@lexxluger: I think the Uncharted games can be pretty divisive in their modern design outlook. It's not for everyone.
@quadknight: ign gave it the first honest review in years.... Truthfully it's the review uncharted 4 should've got. Thankful folks are willing to call out less than rewarding gameplay, especially when it gets stale AND has an empty open world.
I can live with a 7.5... it's a game for those who like the characters not for those who like rewarding gameplay.
Ign hit the nail on the head... Dead center.

lol oh I know that, hell I'm not planning on getting it, but I did buy Uncharted 4, If I hadn't I might be interested in this..might.
Being completely transparent, you will be able to find a negative or unflattering review of almost any game if you're looking for one, lol but that's what I find to be funny.

and I'd say they are dead wrong as usual. :P They're an outlier anyway, GS score is much closer to meta average.
@quadknight: oh cmon now... Stop factoring numbers together like that wins anyone a prize and read the review itself.
:P Meh, I stopped reading IGN reviews a long time ago to be honest. They've been trash for years, and I can't be bothered honestly.
All I know is that I enjoyed UC4 and I'll probably enjoy this as well. Review scores don't mean anything to fans of a franchise anyway.
GS = Lolololol :P
Lems = Lolololol :P
Just like Fake news, Fake reviews are no laughing matter. tehe :P
@lexxluger: I still hold the belief that gamers give reviews too much power. People can decide for themselves what interests them.
@quadknight: can't have it both ways though, Gamespot reviews are not the beacon of light in gaming and we both know that.
I don't want someone to falsely trash a game, but I do want there to be thoughtful and specific counterpoint to what went right/wrong...
Ultimately I agree, if you're a fan, then get ready for a 6th helping. If you've grown weary this game isn't gonna relight the fire.
When the Andromeda reviews came out I couldn't believe it.... Im a fan. After playing it, I cherry picked from reviews who got it right and wrong. They focused on cut scene eyeballs, which doesn't bother me in the least. It's a stupid cut scene that I don't get to be a part of, so it doesn't irritate me... The empty, uncompelling and waste of time open world however, really bothered me and I'm grateful for the publications that called that out.
Whichever meta score it arrives at is inconsequential, I'm looking forward to the threads two weeks after the game comes out.
lol who cares. just wait til crackdown 3 releases in 2025. gamespot will award it the first-ever 11/10.

Bingo.
Also I'm sick of these dull 'open-world' games.

Absolutely!
To be honest, I'd give the IGN review just a much credit as I'd give the Gamespot review. I believe both reviewers gave honest opinions and I believe both experiences could be reflected in a person's play thru depending a someone's persons individual tastes.
I have liked many games that were rated AAA and felt they were as good as advertised and I have hated many AAA games that others feel are infallible, different strokes ya know?
Not everyone is going to take away the same experience when playing a game. That's what it means to be a reasonable individual. That's why it's a good thumb that "if" you're going to look at reviews, it's a good idea to get a general idea of that the collective take away from a specific game which is why MC is such a good reference when checking out games.
That aside, I just find it funny that a Gamespot moderator goes in search for a negative IGN opinion to discredit a positive Gamespot score lol. It's pretty disingenuous to be quite honest.
IGN's opinion does not invalidate Gamespot's score, it's all relevant but still a petty act to try to detract from the reception a game received here by a moderator on these forums.
@lexxluger: I mean, I don't really use game critics much at all. I don't think I get much from their reviews. I don't use websites like Metacritic either; mainly because I don't find scores very useful, and Metacritic doesn't give you enough information on the meat of what critics have been saying about a game; just a vague score breakdown.
So for me I look at a trailer, if I like what I see and it's affordable, I will buy the game.

agreed, less boring ubisoft-style themeparks like the Witcher 3 and Horizon and more genuine sandboxes like MGSV and BOTW please.
