Funny how Gamespot is the be all end all depending on how it fits? Agents of Mayhem has gotten better than a 4/10 elsewhere, and Lost Legacy is getting less than 9/10 elsewhere. I think we've all played the "this score fits" game here. But for the most part I am closer to your opinion on Uncharted 4. I enjoyed it for a play through but I couldn't get excited about playing it again. The MP was fun for the 2 nights people from this forum would play it, the survival mode was fun a couple of times.
But it isn't that enticing to me. I'll buy this when its $20 because that's all another well voice acted, witty dialogue, no risk of death platforming, less than Gears TPS gun play is worth to me.
Yup. Xbox is just sad. Glad I like PlayStation, but I am not surprised at how things turned out. I expected it. The Switch is better too and it has not even been out for a year.

Btw, I actually have nothing against the Uncharted series at all. I actually gamed mostly on PS3 last gen and really enjoyed the UC series... especially 2. So even though most would class me as a "true blue lem" nowadays, I do acknowledge good PS games. Just putting that out there.

Literally 1/3 of the time you're actually in control of Drake you are climbing, 1/3 of the time you're actually in control you're not actually in control and on rails and the last 3rd is some mixed about shooting sequences and puzzle solving.

Remember when there was a meltdown regarding Quantum Break's Metascore, and a full on recalculation attempted, and then Metacritic called into question once it was emphasized the site uses weighted averages? kek, that was funny
@Vatusus: yes exactly... You nailed it. IN MY OPINION, IGN gave it it's first honest review speaking comparitively to what it offers against beating that stagnant dead horse. I'm not apologizing for having an opinion.
Uncharted 4 was a snooze fest. Maybe not if it were the first game in the series, but after 6 games of unrefined gameplay, it felt as boring as sitting through another transformer movie.
My time with Uncharted ended with part 3. Since then I have found Tomb Raider to be a better replacement for that series. Fewer cut scenes. More game play elements, i.e. light crafting, upgrading, exploration, diff ways to platform around levels.
Hell uncharted 4 even stole her grapple hook from Rise. This DLC doesn't interest me enough to return to the franchise, but it's a great score, and should please those who are still enamored by Uncharted.
But how people could love Uncharted 4 so much and dislike Gears 4 so much baffles me. It's two franchises, both with tired and outdated game play styles, that have outstayed their welcome. Yet one is praised, and the other is not.
