heck the game can be finished in insane in 10 hours. From what i have seen of drake's fortune, the game has open ended environment full of Detailed trees, grass, water , debris, shrubs and etc... the character models of drake's is also amazing.

Sorry, even at  this point, i still think Uncharted Looks better than GeoW. That's my opinion, the jungle and everything impresses me a lot more than GeoW's dark mood. The animations are amazing as well, and we haven't even seen all of em all, i think we have seen like 1/3 so far.BrownWalrus

Yeah i also played Gears alot actually im still playing it but i also think that new games will surpass Gears graphics, Uncharted actually already did.

I play Gears multiplayer almost everyday it looks amazing, best this gen so far, but you have to take into account facial and body animations, in which Uncharted looks much better. A: You'll have a hard time if you port without having a PS 3 game in mind when you created the 360 version. That is where a lot of complaints are coming from. They created the 360 engine with a unified memory architecture in mind, with the embedded frame buffer with its advantages and disadvantages, and not thinking too much in early stages about multicore. If you try to get that over to the PS 3, you're in for a bad surprise. The PS 3 is all about streamlining about the two different memory pools. They are separate. You don't have to do tiling because you don't have an embedded frame buffer. All of these advantages of the PS 3 turn into disadvantages if you don't start making your game on the PS 3. Hence the griping. If you create first on the PS 3, it is pretty easy to port it to the 360. A lot of companies coming on board now will probably start on the PS 3 and move to the 360. The lucky thing for us is we didn't have to think about the 360 at all.

Also gears has terrible destructable enviroments, the odd couch, bottle, painting lol and everything else is just static. Uncharted uses a graphics engine built ground up for ps3 hardware and the graphics still arent as good.

A: You'll have a hard time if you port without having a PS 3 game in mind when you created the 360 version. That is where a lot of complaints are coming from. They created the 360 engine with a unified memory architecture in mind, with the embedded frame buffer with its advantages and disadvantages, and not thinking too much in early stages about multicore. If you try to get that over to the PS 3, you're in for a bad surprise. The PS 3 is all about streamlining about the two different memory pools. They are separate. You don't have to do tiling because you don't have an embedded frame buffer. All of these advantages of the PS 3 turn into disadvantages if you don't start making your game on the PS 3. Hence the griping. If you create first on the PS 3, it is pretty easy to port it to the 360. A lot of companies coming on board now will probably start on the PS 3 and move to the 360. The lucky thing for us is we didn't have to think about the 360 at all.

You must be retarded to conclude that from that statement.  Lair dev is saying companies like ubi are taking the wrong approach in porting and are doing a disservice to the superior ps3 hardware as well as a disservice to their own games because they are limiting them on 360 and porting to unfriendly architecture.
