[QUOTE="ElectronicMagic"]I agree that PS3's HD graphics are a little underwhelming, I think it's because that most games on the PS3 don't support 1080p. Even the game I'm looking forward to the most, Killzone 2, is only in 720p.specialed
So you are telling all of us(indirectly) that seing a game in 1080p as opposed to 720p is so different that we all can just look at the screen and tell the difference?
Just like with 1080p/720p movies, the diff. is so little/minute that the hype is incredibly over done...
Its all about geting the best of the best...aka SPEND MORE MONEY ON MY PRODUCT TO GET LITTLE ENHANCEMENTS
The difference is not enough to warrant the hundreds of dollars in upgrades...
Well if you have a job and have extra money that wouldn't be going anywhere else, it's well worth it to buy a TV that's over 46 inches and has 1080p. There's a big difference in graphical quality between 720p and 1080p. But it also depends on how much detail is put into a game. Compare the launch titles of either the X360 and PS3 and you will see that games that have 1080i or 1080p look a lot better than those that are simply 720p.I remember playing Gears on 720p before I got my new HD tv and I was in awe when I switched the settings to 1080p.
