Unreal Tournament 3 for PS3 delayed

wait a minute.. something is screwed up here.. I found previous financial data from 2000 that indicates midways fiscal year ends on June 30th... that would mean we are already in Midways fiscal year 2008. I think that this report is innacurate and the actually mean calendar year 2008 as its the only thing that would make sense.

This just in! PS3 will outsell every console this holiday season! That's right, millions of PS3 owners will be selling their consoles this holiday to raise funds so that they can actually get a console that has games. Frostbite24

Companies change fiscal years from time to time. It isn't set in stone. That was 8 years ago.

changing fiscal years is am accounting nightmare... but it looks like they did indeed. I despise companies that have july to june fiscal years... there are quite a few and its confusing as hell.

It will come out for the 360 before or on the same day now. Why? Him maybe because the company who is making the game actually wants to turn a profit? I own a 360 yet will be getting this game in November for the PC....the best platform for UT games. I do feel bad for PS3 owners though, this was one of the only good games they could forward toin 07, sadly its a port at that.

This just made my holiday a whole lot more boring... but at the same time, made Q1 2008 so full of games it's not even funny. :sNot-A-Stalker

Actually it's probably more because Microsoft paid them a **** load of money to not do what they usually do which is to put there games on every system feasible, including macs and linux boxes, and guarantee exclusivitity of gears to the x360....for a while. But they now have realized that all of the money in the world isn't worth ticking off the group that supported them from the beginning, The PC/Mac/Linux crowd.

The devs said half of the staff prefered the 360 controller over the PC kb/m . I guess it's pretty far along development.

I hope Mark Rein is right... though he has been wrong on some things he posts on forums. I remember him flip flopping on both the fps and cross platform play situations. Even now I'm still not sure on the fps of the PS3 version... Not-A-Stalker
