Upcoming JRPGs, Still nothing for xbox, anything you like?

Thought its time to really start talking about JRPGs again and show SW what is coming in the future as well as which games everyone is excited for so lets have a look shall we?

Disgaea 4

This PS3 entry in the Disgaea continues the magical and mischievous storyline of the hardcore, turn-based, strategy RPG franchise. As the fourth installment in the series Disgaea4 adopts an all new graphic engine with a much more emphasis on a anime graphics and also adopts many new game system for an exciting battle adventure as well as online.

The sequel is set five years after the end of that game. Rororina is 22 and is the instructor to the new main character, 13-year-old Totooria Helmold. Totooria lives with her father and older sister. Her goal is to find her mother, an adventurer who went missing years ago.

Given the quality of these JRPGs coming out on main consoles recently, you are basically arguing which console will get the worst RPGs and which will be saved from them.

Some of those could be decent though.

Neptunia was decent and i was glad i played it, some games arent worth buying till they get a price drop like agrest zero for example, no buy till its 20 or less. i dont just get them tho i play them all 8)

Seeing how Namco is finally looking at the market outside of japan there is a huge chance in xillia coming over after Graces F. first we gotta support Graces F

Tales, Final Fantasy, Ni no Kuni, and Disgaea 4 for me. Versus is at the top of the list of course. dat zero shift combat plus f***-awesome setting, oh I want it so hard.

Anyway only 4 games on there that I interested in which are both Tales games, FF vs XIII, and Ni no Kuni.

I get all besides WKC2 (hated 1). Not sure about 13-2, I was extremly disappointed with 13 and it seems like they didn't add much

Catherine isn't a RPG.

Both Tales games would be nice, hopefully Graces sells well so Namco can change their mind. Disgaea 4 I'm definately getting because I like the series. Need more info for Ni No Kuni, I really like Studio Ghibli but Level-5, not so much...

WTF am I saying? Dark Souls will be better than all those games :P

Nah, Catherine is an adventure/puzzle game.

Thoughts its adventure/puzzle/Adult/RPG/Horror game :P

neptunia 1 wasnt bad of a game i actually enjoyed it, i'd give it a 6 tho but yea i hear part 2 fixed lots of stuff so i want it and i know im not the only one, the game sold pretty well for NISA to be very willing to bring it over

From the list, I'm only interested in Versus XIII, XIII-2, and the Tales games. I enjoyed FFXIII's battle system, so that's why I'm getting XIII-2.

As for the others: I've never heard of Rune Factory. Haven't heard much of Ni no Kuni to get excited - the graphics are beautiful however. Never played an Atelier game before, so I'm not really interested in Totori atm. I have Rorona in my Gamefly list, so that may change. Hyperdimesion Neptunia is just not for me; I dislike the character designs.

I didn't like WKC, so WKC2's out of the picture. Might rent it to see some of the changes they've made. As for Disgaea 4, I kind of got burned out with the series, mostly because of lack of change and not living up to the characters of the first one, imo. Disgaea 3 was D2, which was D1. It's not a bad series, but I'm going to take a break from the Disgaea series.

I lol'd at the desert in the OP, I have to admit, there is1 palm in this desert the pic missed, FFXIII-2 .... anyway, as for the PS3 line up, it's really not that impressive, the only 2 games that are really intresting are Ni No Kuni and FFVXIII, and both have ??? release date, and I believe they will be ??? for a long time.

I disagree, Pokemon may add only a few features but things such as new moves, abilities, and new Pokemon completely change the metagame. The quality and depth the Pokemon games surpass those of the ones you listed.
