Upcoming JRPGs, Still nothing for xbox, anything you like?

Isn´t the 360 most likely getting FF vs XIII and FFXIII-2?

And some of those games look like they´re gonna score really bad. :P

Man, the JRPG genre is so lackluster this gen.Ni no Kuni looks like it could be great (I love the art!) but the rest look pretty mediocre.

This list pretty much solidifies my decision to get another PS2 and play older RPGs that I've never played before (and replay ones that I enjoyed), and start buying DS JRPGs. The JRPG genre has deteriorated in a major way. Great console JRPGs seem so few and far between. And the art in the JRPGs these days is so generic.

I was going to post that I am not too interested in almost all those JRPGs, even though I like the genre (looks like I did post that).

But then I saw your sig and I am way more interested in those games. Especially Panzercorps. I may have toreturn toPC gaming for my turn based strategy needs.

And yet many lemmings try to claim the X360 has some good quality JRPGs exclusives which infact scored AE at best !!! I am not shedding tears either, except for LO, being X360 excusive is probabely the stupidest decison made by a company this generation :cry: .

As a huge JRPG fan, that list is saddening. Clearly the days of the triple-A JRPG's are dwindling outside of the Final Fantasy series. Versus 13 interests me GREATLY. Only problem is that it could be coming out anytime between next week or 2016 lol. I've never played a Tales games, so as long as Tales of Graces gets decent reviews (like 7) I'll give it a chance once the price drops.

But looks like I'm better off getting my JRPG fix from my handy dandy Ps2. FF12, FF10, Rogue Galaxy, Xenosaga 2 and 3 are currently my backlog for JRPGS.

yeah, more JRPGS need to come to 360..

and the 360 still had no exclusive anything all year lol. gonna be loving those jrpgs alongside uncharted 3.

Tales of Xillia - would care if the idiotic handling of the Tales series hadn't killed any interest I used to have for the series.

White Knight Chronicles 2 - Never played first. Meh. Didn't hear many good things about the first game anyways.

Versus XIII - Could be great (would hope so after this long goddamn wait). For all we know though the game could make it's way to the 360. It's quite possible considering how well FFXIII sold on the 360.

Hyper Dimensional Neptunia 2 - ROFL LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL no. :|

Rune Factory - Never played a Harvest Moon game or Rune Factory so not interested.

Just because PS3 has some terrible JRPGs like White Knight and Neptunia, that are 5/10 ones, does not mean is better

BTW, i prefer Witcher 2 to all those games

japanese developers loves to put some ecchi/moe things for fun like Neptunia or other Jrpg games without it no more sequels(ecchi/moe = fanbase increase! = sales then sequels!)nowadays

so.....adults or "hardcore" players hate it...but for otaku/or gamers with anime experience loves it)

games are meant to be fun not like multiplayers games hunger for bloodlust or anything so this is why bad choice to sell JRPG because mostly other players will choose "hardcore" if Microsoft access or help a Japanese developer or game company maybe it will sell on japan.....but Microsoft intended to Western Center of Attention for more western sells

FF13-2 looks leagues better than FF13versus to me, Versus seems like a more serious FF13, while FF13-2 seems to be what we were all expecting from a next gen FF

If you are implying I'm anti-Sony, you'd be wrong. I got a PS1, PS2, and PSP, all of which I have enjoyed. And I would actually love to own a PS3, and try out games like Valkrie Chronicles, Demon Souls, Maybe Little Big Planet, etc.

Why can't you just list the upcoming Wii JRPGs? I know some of them are for Europe, but the board has a European presence.

Ni No Kuni is the only jrpg I am looking forward to. That and some of the 3DS ones look pretty good as well. I doubt any of those will score all that high though
