Agree with most of it but Halo 3 needs to be swapped out for COD4.

Sure there are a lot of levels compared to the first, but isn't it possible to have DLC or expansion disc to have a bit more content than the original game? Besides, no matter how many levels there are, you still get the same amount of stars, so I don't think it matters on how many levels you have.

Sure there are a lot of levels compared to the first, but isn't it possible to have DLC or expansion disc to have a bit more content than the original game? Besides, no matter how many levels there are, you still get the same amount of stars, so I don't think it matters on how many levels you have.

Didn't expect any better from them. 

What a fail list, there's only two games I agree with (TLOU and HLF2) while everything else is meh or irrelevant. They should of added Skyrim,RDR, LoL or DotA 2(the two most played online games), Dark Souls, MGS 3, WoW (it's gone done hill the past 2-3 years but GD the first 4 were amazing) and Batman Arkham City.

Being that they are only games awarded 10s from Edge (99% of people in this thread didn't read that part), then it makes sense the list looks the way it does. I'm okay with most of the choices, however, I'd certainly not award LBP anything more than a 3 though. The platforming in that game makes me puke.

That's not what this list is. This is just a list of all the games that magazine has ever given a 10 at one point or another.They are giving their scale more credit than it probably deserves at this point.

not a bad list, but I don't persoanlly agree with some of them. Zelda Skyward Sword, while a good game, was one of the weaker console Zelda games, and hasn't really proven itself to be influencial or impactful like OoT was. Rock Band 3 is also pretty odd and unfitting. I'm sure it's not bad, but I have a hard time seeing it beating out many of the best game released of all time, and if this list was going for "influence", then wouldn;t it make more sense to put guitar Hero instead?

I will credit them with putting OoT, Bayonetta, and Super Mario Galaxy 2, since all 3 are high quality games and some of the best I've played.

nope. lbp is one of the most fun I games I've played,and probably is along with SMG/SMG2 the most creative platformer this generation.

Sure the platforming is a bit floaty, but not every platformer needs to be new super mario bros. Platformer arent judged on pure platforming/jumping anyway.

Also LBP= puzzles platformer, not action platformer like Mario games. New super mario bros series is great, but they lack excellent puzzles and exploration in levels, which is alot in the LBP games

No Resident Evil 4  or Metroid Prime on that list is a joke.  Those are the two BEST games of the last generation.    **** Edge.  That magazine is a joke now.

I'd easily replace those with Dark Souls, Minecraft, Bioshock, and The Walking Dead.
