Yeh but why is it not on the PS3 i don't get it. I don't get it either. PSP has a larger install base, and a largerr install base in Japan. So I'm assuming thats what mattered to the guys who made this game(i don't know there name).

Besides given that VC sold so poorly on the PS3 with the PSP Sega has guaranteed that they will sell much better specially since the game already gained cult status.

Dude what are you talking about pick up brand new psp $170 and it has tons of great games not even including this i hate handheld games Majority of them to me come off as console games downgraded....only a handful of handheld games appeal to me like a Patapon or Professor Layton. Unless its something unique and different, I can't STAND a handheld game. In any franchise/genre for the most part.

its a wise decision move, From a business standpoint i have no beef. BUT I HATE HANDHELDS.....why did this have to happen to a game I like. Why couldn't the sequel to something I don't care for go to PSP :P

Im pretty sure this is new Playstation Exclusive RPG franchise, all sony platforms deserve one, Im pretty sure They'll make another one for the Ps3 down the road

I thought Valkyria Chronicles was great, but the plot teetered on the brink of being stupidly pedestrian anime. The new setting (School? Really, Sega?) and the new art design show that there is truly no hope.
If I had a PSP, I'd probably get it anyways, but it's definitely a bit disappointing. The original was goofy enough with how it handled war. This is just excessive.

Wow I was so happy when I read the title and once I clicked I became instantly depressed as I don't like handheld gaming at all. I guess I'll get a go when they are cheap...

exactly, real life =/= SW and it sold around 300K or maybe less so I don't think these numbers were helpful.

yeah it had the hard part of coming out in November. It would have done better maybe early this year, or in the summer of last year. Fall/Winter last year was a bad time to release it.

I would enjoy it if they added visual novel/dating sim gameplay like Persona 3/4, that would be entertaining.

Why PSP can't have awesome games? It has a massive amount of Exclusive support and the Ps3 has yet to get there, its almost perceived as if the two platforns where competing with each other for Sony's inhouse devs and third party devs in this case, people seem to forget that sony will never give up in the handheld market, they are fighting a two front war so to speak
