[QUOTE="soulitane"][QUOTE="m3Boarder32"] A smart individual wouldn't even ask such a question because they'd know that resolution is the 4th most important aspect to picture quality behind contrast, saturation, and accuracy.m3Boarder32Which again is missing the point of my question, though, at this point I'm not very surprised, not all of us were made to be thinkers. Lol well that's one way to damage control a lost debate. Good job. "Buh buh you're not a deep enough thinker to realize the real point of my stupid question" I'll explain then since you're obviously not keeping up. The point behind my question was as to how your TV could make 720p look better than 1080p on the same TV. So, in other words, it was more of a rhetorical question because I already knew it wasn't possible, since 1080p will always look better on a 1080p screen compared to 720p on the same screen. So in other words, his PC, on your TV will look better because it will be running games at 1080p opposed to the 720p that most console games use, which isn't taking into account the added effects. So, ie, if you wish to have the best visuals currently (especially if you're a videophile), a PC will be your best bet. Now do you understand? I apologise though, next time I'll be a little more up front with what I'm meaning, since apparantly you aren't able to follow.

Liar. You love your PC like it was your child.
Nah, I love my children like they were my children :)You love your children like they were your PC.

Don't bother with him. He's ashamed that his love for his PC burns far more passionately than it does for his family. This is the only way he can cope.

steam survey means jack. Many people have old pc/laptops and play free to play or other games that are not demanding. I would not call those "gaming PC's". I have a gtx 780 and a 3570k, i think i will be allright. Atleast pc games are scaleable and people with cheap machines can still play the same games - with low settings and resolution. Imagine if Ps4 games could be played on ps3?

oh man all the butthurt consoltes who cant affor a gaming pc came down to this thread faster than a fat kid to a recently opened candy shop.

+100 Jesus people. If you really think consoles can compete in ANY realm, except exclusives, with PC's (graphics and sharpness especially), you're talking out of your ass. This is hardly strange percentage wise, given the number of people who have Steam.
Calling the majority of those people "PC gamers" is a colossal misnomer, however.

Not surprising really considering the vast majority of PC games have a rig that is older and underpowered by todays standards.
Most PC gamers on forums will brag about how big and awesome their huge throbbing PC is and love to try and shove that big engorged PC into everyones face they can constantly online, but they are the minority. Most PC gamers play little rinky dink games on weaker systems. I know, I worked for a computer company for awhile as the lead tech and I was surprised anytime I opened one with a cpu or a gpu that was made in the past few years.
But its always the PC fanboys that brag about their systems that are the loudest, even though they are the fewest so it seems like there are just millions and millions of PC gamers with big bad ass computers. They try to make the most noise because they are in the least numbers.
Lol my Console Setup takes a dump on your PC SetupMy PC takes a dump on the next gen consoles.
My wifes PC doesn't but she still has a Steam installed and an account, she never plays anything more complicated than Howrse and Candy Crush, therefore no need to upgrade it.

If this was true , nvidia and amd would be out of business. How many gpu's does nvidia(makes nothing but graphics cards) need to sell to make a profit and justify production? How many to justify a new process/die shrink?? Millions of people do have bad ass computers , you don't. Maybe when you grow up or grow some brain cells you can afford a nice pc as well. Not surprising really considering the vast majority of PC games have a rig that is older and underpowered by todays standards.

[QUOTE="soulitane"][QUOTE="m3Boarder32"] Not without the TV obviously 123SippiThat's not what we're talking about, he said on YOUR TV, his PC would look better than current consoles. You're dodging the question yet again, though I guess reading comprehension isn't exactly your best attribute. multiplats only cause developers purposely make pc games look better so pc nerds like you wont cry
you seem to be the one crying, looking at all the damage control you keep spamming
My argument is always that my console setup is better than hermits PC setups. And it is Not what we were discussing, read through our discussion and show me anywhere where I denied that?[QUOTE="m3Boarder32"][QUOTE="soulitane"] Why do I care? Who even said I had a gaming PC? Yet again, your reading comprehension is severely lacking. I just find it amusing to win in arguments against people and with you, that's not very hard it seems. soulitane
My point is, if one wants the best picture quality, for the moment, PC will always win, if the screen is equal. You haven't been able to disprove this and just tend to ignore it.

It's funny watching hermits beg me to connect my PC to my living room setup lol, sorry kids it ain't happening. A least you guys admit that PC Gaming is at its best when imitating consoles. I guess it's true, imitation is the fondest form of flattery It's not guess work, basic logic would say it does in fact look better. Who's begging you? Again, your reading comprehension skills are quite lacking. Imitating consoles? How so? PC has the option to be hooked up to a TV, just like a console has the option to be hooked up to a monitor, no imitations, just options. hooked up to a monitor wouldnt matter for consoles since games for consoles arent natively made for monitors like pc games
i cant see it vs exclusives even your cg cutscene graphics vs ingame ps4 graphics and xbox one ingame graphicsMy PC takes a dump on the next gen consoles.

All a PC gamer need to do to crush next-gen consoles is upgrade the CPU to an AMD 8350 and the GPU to a 780 which has 3.9 TFLOP (vs PS4's 1.8 TFLOP or XONE's 1.3 TFLOP). The upgrade would set back a gamer only $850. That's loose change for most gamers. Game over buddy, game over. KjranuThis is stupid Now you are assuming that PC gamer already has a 600+ watt PSU and a AM3+ motherboard.
