I think they will launch with Halo 5 as a launch title. Halo would have the power to get consoles into peoples homes. Sounds about right from what other sources have said but most other sources said PGR5 was the racer and Ryse could be used without Kinect. There is also supposed to be a Fable MMORPG, 2 games from Rare, and a game from Big Park which might be the family Kinect game.

Either way I think this rumor is probably true or at least close.

However, I could see them launching the next Xbox with a 720 version of  Halo 4, that would essentially be the "PC" version of the game in comparison to 360, with DX11 features, etc

  I have played both as well.. I thought the most original part of Killzone 2 and 3 was the warzone mode in multiplayer.. Something no one ever talks about.

I get a kick out of how cynical everyone has gotten. From looking at just a few posts in this thread I've learned that Crytech sucks and everything they make sucks, Killzone sucks, Fable sucks, hell... EVERYTHING SUCKS! Why do any of us bother playing games anyway?

If you consider the mech sequence in the third game good, or manning stationary turrets amazing, then you probably haven't played FPS for 15 years like I have.

If you consider the mech sequence in the third game good, or manning stationary turrets amazing, then you probably haven't played FPS for 15 years like I have. 

While I agree the vehicle sections were rubbish they were very few in number anyway. Killzone has some of the best AI in shooters, so I'm not sure why you would call GG ****, and saying that the campaigns are 4 hours is a fair bit of an exaggeration, unless you have beaten it once before already and put it on the easiest diffiulty.

Except nobody buys Battlefield or CoD for the campaigns.  The entire allure of those games is the multiplayer, and the community that keeps them alive.  (reguardless of what System Wars believes).  Killzone is designed the same way (i.e. its campaign is roughly the same quality as that of Battlefield, and the main allure being multiplayer). The only problem with that is.....the game will not be as supported by its community.

Killzone Shadow Fall is going to be a barren and forgotten about title after launch, especially launching alongside Battlefield 4, the next Call of Duty, and whatever corresponding Halo game.  Cows will hype it, and it may very well be at best a "decent" game, but nonetheless, a game that will simply come and go.  Nothing more.
