Vice-best looking game at the moment?

if this is outdated then let me know what is up to date.

and cuttscenes are seemless to gameplay same exact thing, some would say "in game cutscene"

You post away. I have played and I own MGS4. No matter what you do to the screens to make them look bad, I know from experience that MGS4 does not beat Crysis.

Low res textures and looks like a cartoon.

I still don't understand what people see in this game on a technical level. The character models are good looking, but they have that plastic Barbie doll look to them that early Xbox 360 games had. Also, the environment textures are rather weak. This has to be the most overrated game when talking about visual presentation. BioShockOwnz

Its a good looking game. It is. I wish it had more color, and I certainly am not going to say it beats Crysis, but its a very solid visual game. And the cutscenes are superb.

And I know from my experience that Crysis is not the best looking game.

You can think that. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Just know that no discerning poster on SW is going to:

1) Take your word for anything

or

2) Believe that MGS4 looks better than Crysis.

Yes, it's definitely a good looking game, but I hear the "MGS4 is the graphics king!" stuff all the time, and seriously don't understand. Uncharted looks better and has more detailed environments.

Crysis is not artistic its a Farcry with better graphics. The aliens look lame and theres nothing artistic about it. A real artistic game is something like Okami.

Art is subjective and art can come from realism. It's my opinion that it's artistically beautiful, but it's not my opinion that's it's the most technically impressive, because that's fact.

Unreleased games FTW! Just keep your head down and the Sony defense up! It'll all turn out ok....

I don't see how you think a console, with a fixed base of power, could compare to a PC in terms of visuals. PCs constantly upgrade, and can vastly outperform any of the consoles in visual terms, and it will always be like that.

The only time a console may out do a PC, and I stress may, is at the launch of the system. Within a month or so, the console is lapped in computing and graphical power.

your probably right but i think that it's the whole grand scale that all adds up when you see a mushroom cloud rising over some helicopters firing on tanks and infantry it just adds up to a brilliant looking package,

and you would be surprised at the detail even when close up

Well if you look at the Warhead screens in Bioshockownz's post,you'll see what I mean. It's definitely a deliberate style.
