Yeah Killzone 2 and Heavy Rain are much better looking.

Yeah. The next gen of consoles will look better. Crysis really doesn't tap into DX10 very much. It pretty much is a DX9 game, save a few minor features. I can't wait for Crysis to be dethroned and we see some REAL DX10 games come out!:D

a true mark of a visually stunning game is to do a hands test where you compare how realistic the hands are rendered because games never get them right, they are always to rectangular and crysis has realistic looking hands with skin pores.

I personally prefer colorful, bright games most, so to me, games like Ratchet & Clank, Geometry Wars, Castle Crashers, Uncharted, SSHD, Halo 3, Braid, Hot Shots Golf and many, many other games all look superb.

That is not taking anything away from other games like BioShock, Assassin's Creed, Ace Combat 6, Call of Duty 4, Metal Gear Solid 4, GeoW, Condemned 2, etc that I also think look good, but I love colorful games most.

GT5. The car models look just as photorealistic as Crysis in my opinion. Some people will disregard it for being just a driving sim though so I have others.

Uncharted and then MGS4 on consoles look to me to be the best technically. I would say best art style goes to Tools of Destruction though (if you havent seen the comet level, borrow your friend's PS3 and play it), followed closely by Bioshock.
