that's the thing they are probably about 90% done all ready Versus has been in the works all most as long as FF13.
Note: heres to Square learning a lesson from FF13 and getting a dedicated Cinematic mixer so the CG is at its best on the 360 version, heres all so to them learning to give it a better port job instead of the slop job they did with 13 which is entirely the reason it was sub hd...ect
all so maybe a 4th disc...pay out the money you'll get it back in profit you know you will.

lol even though before the multiplatness of ff13 FF13 was their true final fantasy, was supposed to be the 2nd coming, and show how the ps3 was insanely better then the 360...ect..ect

Cows pre FF13 360: Oh my god ff13 will be amazing, it will score massively and sell massively, and its ps3 exclusive, it will show the ps3 is better!!. Cows post FF13 360: but but but but...we'll I only ever cared or hyped versus any ways.
I've posted in multiple dream E3 topics with a 360 FFvs13 announcement being #1 on my list, but I thought it would never happen. This will be awesome if it isn't just a rumour. The reason I was considering shelling out $500-600 AU could now be coming to the 360.

Always a good thing. except that's not how it went, it came about with no real information about versus being available except bare basics and no real town information either, and at that time no one knew that 13 had no towns...ect

SE can do what they like with the game, and if that means putting it on Xbox 360 to cover the PS3 versions astronomical development costs then so be it.

No, no, no, i was here when that happened, suddenly no cow was interested in FFXIII only in VS, and what we knew about that game in that time? well, that it was exclusive.

why I want to know is why no pc version. Square is bringing 14 to the pc so why not versus 13. I know I am the minority as pc user, but I want to see more japanese games on the pc this gen. Plus, i would love to see the damage control. And the next rant from that fanboy who got so pissed when ff13 came to the 360

probably because the past final fantasy main games that were released on pc did abysmally they weren't bad infact 8 was pretty good with the right drivers looked vastly superior to the ps1 version...
Anyone else remember at the start of this gen when SE said they would treat all consoles equally? What happened to that?

um this is not equality? they have a big budget game...they are releasing it *or looking into that* on both systems. they did the same with ff13. there are square games on ps3, and square games on 360... Seems to me they are treating them equal. there are lots of square games on the Wii.
If that is the case then I'm now incredibly curious about the internal dynamics in the company between the creative side and the management side.
I wouldn't be overwhelmingly surprised if this does eventuate because of the financial considerations, but Nomura being so intricately involved in the development of this game was the main reason I thought this may remain an exclusive.
If it does become multiplat, I wouldn't be too surprised if the task of the port goes to another SE team.

And when I mean equally I mean exclusives. 360 got good support from SE at the start of this gen, but the PS3 and the Wii have been shafted so far. FF13 is the only game from SE this gen on the PS3. The PS3 got a port of Star Ocean, but it couldn't even get a port of Last Remnant. As a PS3 owner I'm kinda pissed off at how SE is treating the PS3.
