This coming from the latest interview from Gameinformer and all this coming straight from the WarHawk Developer, I think MS should really take notes here. Good read.
GI: Can that single-player content be brought back in some kind of downloadable content pack?
Jobe: I don't know. I have some really strong feelings about the approach to download content. I always joke with some of the guys in the office that for 95 cents you can unlock the X button.I don't think we want to nickel and dime the consumer. If there's a desire for it, then maybe we would revisit it, but we are not releasing Warhawk in a way where, "Oh, there's all this content that should have been in the original game and now I have to pay for it to get it."In my opinion, I think that's BS,and I know that Sony wants to deliver a strong product where you get what you pay for out of the box and that's that. And if people want more content, we'll make more content. But it's not something where we're Trojan-horsing content inside the game that players then have to pay for to unlock. I think that's taking advantage of the consumer.
Hmm sounds like one company should have the same mindset... :::cougsMICROSOFTCoughs::: Charging for Halo 2 maps on a LAST GEN game nonetheless and forcing Epic to charge for new maps coming out for Gears in the coming months. Heres the link to the article by the way
