[QUOTE="Diviniuz"][QUOTE="wolverine4262"]how would this NOT happen? Do you even know how DVD drives work?wolverine4262Do you? Laptops and portable disc players Both of those devices have already been mentioned as not being comparable. The point is that it is possible, you wrote how could this NOt happen
HAHA lol and thats the 360 slim. Wow i guess the engineering aspect is over looked at MS this is just lol material.:lol::lol::lol:
the 360 has a dvd drive that doesnt hold on to the disc thats why the game scratches. the reason why the wii, ps3 dont do it is because they grab the disc tightly in the drive
bigM10231
Yeah, pretty much. It has those two plastic notches that keep the disc from falling out when standing vertical, but there is enough room in between the notches and the disc to make it scratch very easily if the console is nudged. It's why I keep my 360 horizontal.
They can still bump into you TV stand..If xbox360 fanboys don't think its a issue then you guys have problems.. I know this is not new to you lemmings, since you guys accepted the RROD of death and still support a crappy a system....Microsoft wont get their act together cause of you guys..lol..Anyways i support you guys go buy it! i want to see countless of threads and video on how my new 360 killed my disk and RROD on me..hah..stayhigh1I know no one here will ge the reference but I couldnt help myself

seriously dont see anything here but a troll.

doesn't even have to be those devices
i've had my original xbox fall off the top of tv's because somebody accidentally knocked it off and the disc wasn't scratched

Doesn't happen to the ps3
No but that's probably because its not a tray. probably doesn't happen as often but it does happen and my ps3 has scratched my games (lbp got the brunt of it).[QUOTE="slipknot0129"]In a rv while it moving. would you just not install the game to the 250gb HD to much logic in this post.[QUOTE="Vinegar_Strokes"]

Anecdotal experience much? The Xbox pretty much uses the exact same disc reading system as the 360...I and other have had plenty of experiences of having their Xbox scratch games because it moved. If you're going to accuse the XBox's system of being fine, then you might as well admit that the 360's is as well. :?[QUOTE="wolverine4262"][QUOTE="Diviniuz"] Do you? I can also stab myself and die, does it make much sense to do it? :?
Well, at least I'm getting some lulz out of this thread. People not being able to discern the differences between disc reading systems and acting as if all are the same...wow.

yeah, nobody in here's ever said something as stupid as "all dvd drives scratch dvd's if they're moved"
Where is your PS3 on the floor? Most have TV stands or I would hope its not in the middle of floor for anyone to walk into it, because you would have more problems then your PS3, how about the TV?after all the issues they have had before, should they have atleast fixed it? I mean I've bumped my PS3 a couple of times and my kid has even dragged it while I was using it and it never scratched.

PS2, Wii, Xbox1 don't scratch discs when being moved......they were/are on the market. I mean really, why are people even arguing this anyway? Lemmings need to stop with the damage control and just accept that their console has a cheap drive. Consoles shouldn't be moved anyway though.I don't think there is a single disc drive on the market that won't damage a disc when it is moved... aside from perhaps laptop drives. This isn't a MS or 360 problem, but user error... and always has been.

Solution:
Play your game when you are using the system and not juggle it.
Problem solved

I bet MS just did this to make us buy new discs

yup, since it made by them..lol..Like i said if you lemming wanna support it , im fine with it.. At a 40º-60º angle, this should give you optimal disk scratches.
