Well I hope you XBOX 360 fans enjoyed the one year advance while you did

I know it is going to be hard to take but it's game over for the 360 dudes. This year and beyond is going to the PS3 and no other 360 game(s) can even come close to the epic titles that will be playable ONLY on PS3. So if your 360 has not gotten the Red Ring of Death yet I highly suggest you sell the pos and get the real deal known as the PS3 ;).

This man wins the thread. Yes, let's all argue our heads off for second place in console sales (which isn't actually a playable game), second place in graphics (after the PC, which can throw upgradeability and straigh-up $$$ at that little issue).

PS3 is still just playing catch up-

PS3 still after all this time does not have even one AAAE game but Wii and 360 both got some a long time ago.

PS3's online is still less then then the 360's. Heck Home has pretty much become vaporware at this point.

PS3's big name games get delayed again and again and again. 360 has not only released games like Halo 3, Gears, Mass Effect but tonight they are showing gameplay for Gears2. So 2Gears games will be out before KZ2 even comes out.

PS3 only offers demos for GT that you even have to pay $40 for when 360 is releasing full games of racers like PGR and Forza.

360 has more AAA and AA games then the PS3 does on GS and Gamerankings.

And much more

So again PS3 is still playing catch up to the 360 and saying promises that they never keep.

Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Mario Kart and Smash are all out for Wii. If this hasn't shown you anything then by all accounts the Wii is most likely dead to you. There really is no hope of it ever going to appeal to you as it is a Nintendo console and they have put out some huge games already.

PS3/360 are so similar in multiplats yet 360 gets the benifits of PC/360 games, a years head start, and some good exclusives. If you're not impressed with the 360 either I'm curious. What are your views on the PS3?

Whoa whoa this stuff still starts a battle here on system wars, well heres the ammo if you want to start the war. the ps3 has outsold or has been close outselling the 360 in the us so far month after month. its surpassed the 360 in europe for total worldwide sales. If the trend continues then yes the 360 is done for as far staying in second place, but ms did a good job as far as the game lineup. I hate the 360, from a hardware perspective i HATE the machine. but the gaming lineup is good. and lets face it sony ALMOST blew it with the ps3 , they made alot of mistakes earlier but seem to be coming along good now.

but there arent any losers this gen, all 3 consoles will be a success imo.

Im not impressed by Sony either. There is nothing but multiplats for the PS3. The Wii isn't my cup of coffee you got that correct. I just play Brawl and Mario Kart with friends and well it just gets boring too me after a while. Mario was good in his old days to me.

Most of 360s excluives aren't my type of game. Gears meh, Halo meh, and im finding I don't like WRPGs as much as the next fan, which is wierd because I love JRPGs. Ninja Gaiden II in June (but MGS4 is that month soo i'll probably wait) and Tales of Vespria are games that interest me soo i'll wait and there will probably be a price drop I hope also.

Sony been lacking in the RPG development (late) soo theres not much there, but I ave been expriencing alot of games and gems I wouldn't normally play. There trying and getting little success, but they need more support and Im questioning why in the hell are they still backing the PS2.

The topic title makes absolutely no sense what-so-ever, but I did enjoy playing the 360 for the first year, and all the years since.

Just like how I have enjoyed playing the PS3 and Wii as well...Isn't that kinda why we game in the first place?

whoa whoa whoa, the 360 is nothing like the PS2, if it was it wouldnt be getting outsold by the ps3 and wii .the ps3 is outselling the 360 worldwide. The 360 has a bigger install base so of course its going to have better software sales. But hey im willing to bet that once the ps3 meets or surpasses the 360 for total console sold the software sales on the ps3 will be at or above that of the 360's. But thats simple math.

My PS3 only for GTA 4, Street Fighter, Guilty Gear XX. For some reason I can't get back into GTA4.

Japanese RPG developers tend to be very island-centric, and since the PS3 is selling well in Japan, that will be their platform of development. What do you think they've been doing for the past 3 years, developing nothing? Things are in the works from Square Enix's multiple studios, Konami's RPG studios at KCET and KCEJ, at Namco, and sony's own studios.

Just because the 360 has an early lead, 360 fans seem to think they're invincible and that nothing will go wrong. Things will go wrong. For one, the 360 hasn't expanded well outside of the shooter market. Most of the people who were playing videogames last generation on their PS2's feel like videogames have left them behind, and these are the people who will go to the PS3.

You make an interesting point, but it is meaningless until sony makes those game or gets them.

in the meantime, 360 is doing fine with the market it cut out for itself, which is shooters, which I don't mind at all.

Sure, there is some nonshooters that are pretty sweet, but the system doesn't sell them nearly as well as the BIG AWESOME shooters.

I think ONLINE is a big deal for the 360 market, something JRPG's/Platforming/Adventure dont' do well, because its hard, whcih is fine by gamers like me.
