in the meantime, 360 is doing fine with the market it cut out for itself, which is shooters, which I don't mind at all.
Sure, there is some nonshooters that are pretty sweet, but the system doesn't sell them nearly as well as the BIG AWESOME shooters.
I think ONLINE is a big deal for the 360 market, something JRPG's/Platforming/Adventure dont' do well, because its hard, whcih is fine by gamers like me.

I'm just waiting for someone to come by and make a list of a bunch of games on the 360 that aren't shooters. My point is that these games are primarily selling only to people who already have 360s. Even Mass Effect was marketed by Microsoft as a shooter, because they knew it would sell more.Lost Odyssey pushed systems in Japan and the U.S. and has sold over 600,000 copies. It's not a shooter. GTA IV isn't really a shooter either and look how many 360's sold with that game. NG2 (not a shooter) will move more systems. Halo Wars (not a shooter) will sell more 360's. Banjo 3, Fable 2 and Infinite Undiscovery will all in turn sell more XBox 360 and not of those games are shooters. So please STHU about games that aren't shooters not selling 360's, because your are WRONG on all accounts. Someone said the same thing before DMC4 came out and we watched 1000's of XBox 360 get sold that week. Same thing with Lost Odyssey. There are plenty of NON-Shooter games coming out for the XBox 360 in 2008 and all of them will move some XBox 360's. Mass Effect was never marketed as a shoot. :roll: Was always marketed as an action RPG. Get your facts straight and stop making up BS to try to make your comments believable.
you just listed a bunch of games that arent going to push anything. The original NG didnt even sell a million copies yet NG2 is going to push systems? infinite undiscovery is going to push systems? thats highly doubtful, the last banjo was made EIGHT years ago. lost odyssey pushed systems in japan for about a month. The most popular racer, the most popular rpg, the most popular exclusive fighter , the most popular action stealth ALL belong to sony. Sony also has a more popular platformer in Jak and daxter. The 360 isnt finished by all means, but sony's future lineup is definately more impressive and dominating and i didnt even mention any of the new ips or any of the shooters.
All those games will help sell some systems. The best Fighter is on both systems, It's called Soul Calibur 4. It blows Tekken away by a mile. Unless Killer Instinct 3 gets announced. of course. The mos popular RPG won't be out until next years. While you wait, we get Infinite Undiscovery and Tales of Vesperia, which will definitely move some systems. You obviously haven't seen these games I'm assuming. A lot of people like Splinter Cell more then MGS. Both of these games will move systems. They always have. Has Jax & Daxter even been announced for the PS3 yet? :lol: Stop counting on vaporware. Even if it get announced, it won't be out this year.
I said best exclusive fighter, which is tekken. Final fantasy will outsell Inifinte undiscovery and TOV combined. The ps3 is getting a few rpgs this year, White knight story looks great for the ps3 but i dont know if that will make it this year,TOV and infitite are unoproven games. they may flop for all you know, sony still has alot more proven franchises the ms does.
