Best topic ever. lol
I can't name them all due to the shear number of 2d fighter I play. I will say that my avatar speaks volume.
Marvel vs. Capcom 2: Cable, Wolverine, Hayato, Sentinel, Psylocke, Gambit, Jin.
Guilty Gear X: Johnny owns all :P
SF II: Sagat, Balrog, Ken, Dhalsim, Blanka
Capcom vs. SNK 2: I use all the grooves pretty much except S-Groove, and I like using Sagat, Ken, Akuma, Guile, Geese, Blanka, Vega, M. Bison, Sakura, Kyo, Rock, Cammy.
SFIII: 3rd Strike: Mainly Yun, Urien, and Ken.
Morrigan:
linkhero1
Morrigan is great to use, but man when she's in the computers hands; she can be incredibly cheap.
I'll list by game
Street Fighter Series:
Ryu
Ken
Guile
Rolento
Marvel vs Series:
RyuX
KenX
Gambit
Spiderman
Morrigan
Strider Ryu
Ironman
Captain America
King of Fighters Series:
Terry Bogard
Mia
Iori Yagmi
King
Vice
Capcom vs Snk Series:
Ryu
Ken
Morrigan
Guile
Blanka
And around 12 other characters
I have many more but I'm too lazy right now :P
Blackbond... I must say your list of fighters you use seems... Limited. Then again I've only played SF 3rd Strike once. Nonetheless, great topic.
The characters I use? I'd probably need a couple of posts to post them all. I must give an honorable mentions to Wolverine, Jam, Baiken, King, Kim, Dark Sakuraand Rock. The lack of them in this thread is frightning. :?

I play with more then those characters those are just my primary and best characters for each game. I can use Ken, Ryu, Alex, plenty of people from KOF, Ky Kiske ect. Those are just my best characters.
Though, I've never played the KoF series, and I'm hoping to very soon.
Any Street Fighter Game/Capcom fighter (primarily Street Fighter II)
King of Figthers games/Capcom vs SNK Chaos
Mortal Kombat I & II
Hmmm, let's see...Marvel vs. Capcom 2: Cable, Wolverine, Hayato, Sentinel, Psylocke, Gambit, Jin.
Guilty Gear X: Johnny owns all :P
SF II: Sagat, Balrog, Ken, Dhalsim, Blanka

Wow...someone on system wars actually said Yun and Urien. that is very shocking to me. I applaud that.
I haven't played Samurai Showdown in YEARS. :PThough, I've never played the KoF series, and I'm hoping to very soon.
Blue-Sphere
I never even heard of the King of Fighters series until about three years ago; I blame Capcom for this, since Street Fighter was the 'de facto' 2-D fighting series during my childhood. But now that i've been exposed to KoF, i'm starting to prefer it over good ol' Street Fighter. ^_^

I do agree that SNK makes good characters ands*yle but hands down Capcom has created the best fighting mechanics in any fighter. The only character Capcom has ever made that could hold a stick up against SNK's were Ryu and Akuma.

Are you joking me? While I completly agree with you SNK has cooler characters but Capcom has better games there are a lot of other great characters out there that are as good as SNK characters other then Ryu and Akuma. I'd call your statement "Gutter Trash..."

OMG! Is that Nakoruru?
I hate that stupid bird thing. Especially in Capcom vs SNK 2
HA, some friends of mine love doing that move. :lol:I do agree that SNK makes good characters ands*yle but hands down Capcom has created the best fighting mechanics in any fighter. The only character Capcom has ever made that could hold a stick up against SNK's were Ryu and Akuma.IbukiNinja
Ryu and Akuma are like Kyo and Iori to me.
SNK mechanics can be a bit confusing and aren't as 'solid' as Capcoms. And i'm not that big of a fan when it comes to 3-on-3 matches that's one of the pet peeves I have with KoF's, Fatal Fury, Art of Fighting, etc. Though as you've said SNK's characters are good, and SNK likes to add a lot of japanese culture to their fighters, similar to Guilty Gear.

Actually, I have nothing against 3rd strike characters except for Q and Elena. Still they not asgood as SNK. The Geese, Terry rival alone kills.
I only have a couple issues with some of the 2D fighters. Where the hell is Andy Bogard? He's been absent since 2003. He wasn't even in Capcom vs SNK. I guess Andy isn't the Ken equivelent to Ryu :|
Secondly how the hell has Terry's Team not won a KOF Tournament? Come on SNK show your biggest character some love and not these stupid flame wielding losers like Kyo, Lori, and K' (even though I like K')
Hey, hey, hey, don't hate on Kyo. I love him in K-Groove. :PI only have a couple issues with some of the 2D fighters. Where the hell is Andy Bogard? He's been absent since 2003. He wasn't even in Capcom vs SNK. I guess Andy isn't the Ken equivelent to Ryu :|

Lol...Then fear me on that game. She's my hidden trump card.;) That and my main 3-man team is King, Kyo and Ken.
Teh_Stevz
I always used King, Chun-Li and Kyosuke Kagami (my trump card); I should start playing that game more often. We always joked about the tune on the UK stage "this is true love we're making"; lol it's as out of place as the tune for the selection screen in Marvel vs. Capcom 2 ("gonna take you for a ride".)

Yeah it is pretty hellish. But whats the deal with Rock? If he's old enough to fight now that means the cast must have aged significantly as well. How old are they in KOF 2002 when Rock is a little kid compared to when he's old enough to fight. I mean he was even in the KOF Anime's. Terry seems to have put on some weight and bulked up over the years since he ditched the trucking hat.

Well, Terry story is irrelevant to KOF series. And who uses "the wolf" anyways? This isn't Fatal Fury...
I like using Yun in Street Fighter 3 and Capcom vs SNK 2. Also E. Honda and Rolento are good choices.CJL13
Sweet another Yun user. I'm just happy to see the new guys in Street Fighter get some love. They have been out for 10 years now, yet people still talk about Ryu, Gouki, Ken, and Chun. Yun is a beast, and his style is S-class top nnotch.

Bah, Terry's powerful but up against the likes of Iori, K' and Kyo he has some tough competition; he might have won the Garou Tournament, i'm not sure.
Andy's been out of the tournament ever since him and Mai had a kid.
j/k. :P
