or w/e they call the interface for their system.

for features, or w/e reason u have. personally i like the 360's better, with the ability to DL while off (it was unique for a time, and the wiiu cant do it), quick launch, and a few other features that im losing too much interest to get into, as of now, it wins in my book. 

lil off topic rant: y do i need to run youtube on the internet browser on the wii u to watch on the gamepad, the youtube app on wiiu is a mess while netflix works great, grinds my gears a lil :/

360 before the major update. Also I loved the dsi's clean interface and the ability to put a picture on the upper screen.

XMB its simple and it works i can get to what i want to fast.

xbox had the best 2 years ago. until they turn it into a want to be win 8 deal...

 currently still beats ps3 though IMO. 

SO winner wii/3ds. Why? you can literally customise where you want everything you have how you like. 

360. Someone needs to go through XMB and ask on every single screen, "what meaningful action can the user take right now?" If the answer is "nothing", it's not a modal dialog, it's a notification. Same goes for foreground vs. background tasks - unless the user can interact with it, just do it in the background automatically.lowe0

When one scrolls through the 360's interface and comes across a Toyota or State Farm ad on every other menu it confuses the user and makes them think they are on a virtual ad book rather than a video game platform

Have you tried the PSN store. That is so slow it makes XBL fast in comparison. Also the Dashboard is doing a lot more stuff than the plain PS3 GUI is. Oh yeah it has Ads but they don't bother me because they are in the lower right hand of the screen.

Haven't tried the "console" myself yet but since it's running Android i'm picking Ouya :P

I don't think its possible for them to make usability any worse than the XMB. People here defend it because theyre used to it, but as a UI its pretty awful. And yeah, maybe they will incorporate ads (I mean proper ads, not just pictures that link to PSN content etc), especially if they're keeping it free.
