I'm sort of curious to see how many Lemmings have PS3, how many Cows have Xbox 360, how many Sheep have one or both of the HD Twins, how many Hermits have consoles, how many consolites have gaming rigs, etc etc....

Right now, I currently have a gaming PC from 2009 that is due for an upgrade, an iMac, two PS3's (1 60gb fat / 1 160gb slim NIB), two Xbox 360's (both slim / 1 NIB), two Wii's (1 black / 1 white), Nintendo 3DS (Flame Red), two PS2's (silver slim / black slim NIB), three Xbox's (1 NIB), two Gamecube's (1 silver / 1 indigo), two PSX's, two Dreamcast's, two Nintendo 64's, iPod Touch 64gb 4th generation & an iPhone 4.

My favorite console is the Playstation 3. I like the exclusive games for it the best, like Demon's Souls, Uncharted, Metal Gear Solid 4, God of War 3, Disgaea, Heavy Rain, ICO & Shadow of the Colossus Collection, Killzone and Resistance. All of those franchises and games are literally some of my favorites from this entire generation. The PC, 360, Wii 3DS and App Store also have a bunch of games and franchises that I enjoy, but just not as many.

I also like the durability and scratch resistance of blu ray discs. DualShock 3 is my favorite controller, with the best comfort, 10-bit analog precision for the analog sticks as opposed to the 8-bit used by Xbox 360, the same 8-bit used in last generation controllers. I also like the pressure sensitive buttons, Sixaxis support, and rechargable battery as standard.

The fact that PSN is free is another added bonus. Plus, I'm not a PSN Plus member, but the service really seems like a lot of bang for your buck.

The most important contributing factor to my decision comes down to the games. I get all my multi-platform games on PS3, because I can play them online for free on PSN, my friends are on PSN and not on Xbox Live, disc durability, games are all on 1 disc, and multi-platform games on PS3 occasionally come with extra full retail games and/or additional content.

My least favorite console is the Xbox 360. I like my 360, but it is my least played console of this generation. I have had a cloth laying on top of it for the last year so it doesn't collect dust. I only use my 360 for the exclusives, and those are few and far between. I had a blast with Halo Reach, and most recently, Forza 4, Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary and Gears of War 3. I have around 40 games for Xbox 360, most of which are great games, so it isn't like I haven't researched and discovered games within the Xbox 360 library. It's just that in terms of time played, I have spent the least amount of time playing my 360. I have spent much more time playing the Wii, 3DS, PS3, PC and even Apple devices than I have my 360, and with the new focus on Kinect, I don't expect that to change.

I think Kinect is a gimmick, and a poorly executed one at that. The main problem I have with Kinect is that the controls don't always work, they don't always register. That's a broken control apparatus when your inputs aren't being registered. An even bigger problem that I have with Kinect is that it is limited to on-rails, and I do not like games that are on-rails, in fact those are my least favorite segments in Gears of War, the on-rail segments. If you want to see an example of Kinect going off-rails, look at the video review for Rise of Nightmares, a complete joke if you ask me. It bugs me that their entire focus is revolved around this joke of a peripheral.

I also can't help but think that Xbox Live is a scam. I was an Xbox Live subscriber last generation on Xbox, playing games like Halo 2 and Rainbow Six 3, but Xbox Live really differentiated itself back then from other consoles in terms of an online experience. This generation, the gap has been closed, and PS3 offers a nearly identical experience online. The only thing that remains the same is Xbox Live charging an annual fee. I know this is partially my fault, but one reason I refuse to get Xbox Live is because last generation, I subscribed to Xbox Live and paid for 1 year up front, and I sold my Xbox about 6 months into my subscription. 6 months later, Microsoft automatically charged me for an additional year of Xbox Live, because once you sign up with your credit card, it keeps on adding years and automatically charging you unless you go out of your way to call their customer service and cancel it. So I ended up paying an additional $50 bucks for absolutely nothing.

One last thing I want to go into that I dislike about the Xbox 360 is the fact that all of the peripherals are overpriced, and you're forced to buy Microsoft brand. I spent like $130 bucks on a 250gb harddrive, that is extremely overpriced. Wii allows 3rd party SD cards, PS3 allows SATA harddrives, why is the Xbox 360 proprietary only? Greed? You bet. Get this, there was a competing 3rd party selling Xbox 360 harddrives on Ebay and Amazon for half the price. These 3rd party harddrives worked perfectly fine with the 360, and were a legitimate substitute, but Microsoft got word of the competition, and released a firmware update for the 360 that rendered these 3rd party harddrives incompatible with the 360, and in many reports that I read in reviews, were actually causing the 3rd party harddrives to brick consoles. That is a very underhanded and shady business tactic.

I own 2 360's.

It's the first microsoft system I've owned and the only reason I got it was because of GeoW.My brother got a ps3 so we would still be able to enjoy the exclusives that both platforms offer.
All in all...I still prefer the ps3 but I don't see the point in buying one for myself because I can play the exclusives on my brother's.

Instead I bought another 360 and gave my first one to my other brother,so he had a system for himself.

I'm planning on getting a ps3.Maybe in 2 months.New PC will be for the summer.

Own a Wii, which has been in a box for 2 years. And a PS3, which sees more action than any other console I've ever owned. PSPGo, and 7 Vitas (so I can play a different one everyday of the week.)

Well I have a PS3, Wii and DS. I can't really fairly judge though because I've only had my PS3 for 2 months so obviously its my least favourite. I enjoy all my systems they, they all offer me something different and I've got to play some of my favourite games ever on all of them like The World Ends With You, Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Uncharted 2.

360/ PS3. I think I probably use my 360 more, but only because achievements are better than trophies. As for the Wii, I gave it to my sister. I also bought a DS and gave that to my sister too. It was junk.

Just counting this gen,

360
Wii
PC
DS
PSP

PC gaming just hasn't done it for me this time around, and since I don't play first person shooters or care about graphics and mods anymore, my favorites are the Wii and 360. I don't really have preference since they each get about the same amount of playing time per year. As for most hated, that's easily the PSP. Instead of waiting for any games, I got it because of its tech, which in short was a big mistake. The main reason why I don't want a Vita is because I don't need another waste of money that just sits in my drawer and collects dust.

I currently own a Ps3 and a PC. I've had all the consoles this gen, though, at one point or another.

Overall, I prefer the PS3 because of its games and controls, but I have playing more on PC lately because I have a bunch of games on there I was able to get cheap. I would never pay full price for a PC game though.

3DS, Xbox 360, Wii, DS, PS2, GBA, Gamecube, N64, SNES, NES in backwards order from when I bought them.

Xbox 360 and Wii I play the least. I've had my on-and-off periods with both of them but overall they were flops and disappointing to me. The Wii I played mostly from 2007-2008, and I play it actively right now only because I bought games for it and my completionist tendencies aren't letting me leave the system alone. I have an Xbox 360 that I haven't turned on since October, but I was gaming actively with it from January-October 2011. I bought in 2008 but didn't really start playing it seriously until last year, but I stopped again.

The DS and 3DS are my babies. I bought a DS in 2005 and even in my dark days where I didn't even consider myself a gamer I would still buy 1 or 2 DS games a year and play them 30 minutes a day or so. My 3DS is my main system right now and I love it. I play it on average 2 hours a day.

Both my Gamecube and PS2 were good to me. I played my Gamecube more because I bought it in 2001 (I bought the PS2 in 2004) but they both had really amazing games. I quit gaming for a period of time 2004-2006 but I still played those two on those long boring summer breaks. GBA was also great for a few games here and there, but overall it didn't get much playtime.

My N64 is my favourite system of all time (though the DS may beat it if I catch up to my backlog) - every game I own for it I love :)

NES and SNES I'm too young to remember. I own Mario Bros./Duck Hunt, Mario vs. Luigi, a couple of Kirby games, and all the Super Mario World games.

I own a 360, ps3, 3ds,psp, PS vita. I prefer my 360 and buy 90% of multiplats on it. Controller, user interface, game series, BC with my favorite Xbox games. I don't go gold, but use the free months when they come with a game. Doesn't hurt me as I rarely play mp. Like my ps3 a lot but really just for exclusives I like. Don't care for a lot of them like Twisted Metal or LBP but others Like infamous, GOW, kz are musts. PSP was my go to hand held but the 3ds usurped it. Now the vita has taken over in that category.

I don't have a least favorite, I love them all equally.

Except my Wii, lately its been kind of dead. At least the 360 gets the same multiplats you get on PS3, the Wii doesn't really get a whole lot now.

PS3, Wii, 360 and PC.

Wii the least despite the 360 being the most frustrating.

PS3, 360, DS, and PC. I haven't touched my PS3 in nearly 3 months now since the Bluray drive crapped out on me. Been meaning to replace it but I've been pretty busy with my 360 and PC so it isn't exactly a high priority at the moment. Not to mention the 11 other retro consoles that I own and also play regularly.

I own:

  • Nintendo DS Lite
  • Playstation 1 Fat (2x)
  • Playstation 2 Fat
  • Playstation 3 Slim
  • Playstation Portable 3000
  • Xbox 360 Slim

The one I most like is the PS2 due to the great and best library ever and the one I least like is probably the NDS.

  1. PC which I love because it does everything, plays more games than every system combined, and has more content than every system combined. It's gaming paradise
  2. DS which, while I don't play it as often as I did, has brought me a lot of games I enjoyed over the last few years
  3. Wii because it's the only console I really get to play games with friends on which has been fun
  4. PSP is kinda similar to the DS, but it died way quicker
  5. PS3 for providing about two total games I felt were worth playing more than once. Definitely my least favorite system I've ever owned.

Every gaming platform I own

- PC

- PsOne, PS2, PS3

- DS Lite, DSi, PSP

- Original GBA x2

My favorite is most definitely PC. My least favorite is probably PSP because dat nub of a joystick is bad. I don't have a least favorite console from what I own but I don't like the Wii very much...

Favorite handheld is the DS, any version except the fat original. The DS has an exceptional library of games.

I currently own a PS3, Wii, 360, and a DSi.

I don't really have a least favorite, but out of all of those I'd say the DS has been most neglected. I have a total of four games for the system. I don't know why, I just never get much mileage out of handhelds personally. Maybe it's the inherent lack of immersion due to a smaller screen, or that it's a bit more difficult to find a comfortable position to play in. Whatever the case may be, it stands that the DSi isn't really used much. I've played the heck out of both FF 3D remakes, and not much else.

As for my favorite, well, I'd like to say I don't have a favorite. Truth is, though, that if you were to look at the total time logged on all three of my home consoles, the PS3 would probably even eclipse the other two combined. Strangely enough, despite this I find myself thinking of the Wii as a better gaming machine. Overall, the library of games one can choose from on the Wii just SOUNDS more appealing to me. It's weird, I know. It's like the idea of the Wii is better than the reality.

You know, or something like that...:|

I own a Gamecube, Wii, SNES, NES, DS, and 3DS. I used to own a Genesis, PSX, PS2, and Xbox 360.

In all honesty, the Gamecube is my favorite console. I loved the controller design and its library of 1st and 3rd party games was spectacular. The controller that came with it needs a new analog stick because I played it so much. Of course, that's a corded controller and I have since moved on to four wavebirds. I have more games for the Cube than any other console in my library, and I still go back and play them every now and then.

To me, that generation was when 3D graphics became good. Sure, the N64 had some nice looking games, but they were muddled with crappy textures, blocky character models, or unstable framerates. The same can be said about the PSX. With the GC, PS2, DC, and Xbox, hardware was more capable of creating 3D games that were pleasing to look at(Final Fantasy X, LoZ: Twilight Princess, Halo 2, Sonic Adventure 2).

I am a PC gamer, but i own a PS3 for some games like Tekken, and select few longrunning series, such as Gran Turismo, Metal Gear Solid and Armored Core.

My favorite console overall isthe PS2 due to its MASSIVE library in pretty much any genre you can think of. If this gen, then obviously the PS3, and my least favorite is the 360 because of 2 things. The D-Pad is not usable (Ask anyone interested in fighting games that does not use a stick) and taking your console online costs money. Besides that i have no gripes with the 360, but in the end i just dont care for it, as i dont play much on consoles to begin with.

I use the 360 because that's where my friends are. Play mostly L4D2 on this, Halo with my godson.

PC for RTS and sim type games. Civilization. Starcraft. etc, going to get a flight stick at some point for flight sim.

PS3 is my favorite. I like the aesthetics, interface, PS Home, I watch The Tester, the exclusives are excellent and watching Blu Rays.

PC, PS3 and Wii.

PC is by far my favorite because I can play my Wii games in HD, and the PS3 is looking ancient at this time. I do like it's exclusives, but I could never justify playing a multiplat on it.

Currently, I have a 360, a PS3, a PS2, a PS1 w/ LCD, a PSP, a Wii, a 3DS, a Mac, a modern PC (i7 2600, 2x GTX, Recon3D) and my latest project, a legacy PC (Piii 750, Voodoo3, Vortex 2). My current favorite is the 360, probably followed by the legacy PC.

I got a

  1. PS3
  2. Wii
  3. 360
  4. PSV
  5. Iphone
  6. my laptop
  7. 3DS (getting it tomorrow)

I play games on those this generation. to rank them in terms of how often i use them it would be

PS3>>>>>>Laptop>PSV>Iphone>Wii>>>>>>360

don't count 3DS as i don't have it yet.

I barely play my 360 anymore out of preference to my PS3, i certainly have been playing my Vita way more then i ever have played on my Iphone and Wii, and i still play a game on my PC whenever my PC can handle the game.

Next generation i see myself going with Nintendo and Sony for consoles and handhelds with a decent computer to boot. assuming things stay relatively the same as they are now.

I also have a PS2 and Nintendo 64 in storage but i almost never bring it out.

Holy crap you typed a whole lot...

I currently have a PS3 and a Wii. I like the PS3 much more as I actually play it roughly once a month at least.

I used to have a 360 but sold it shortly after Gears 2 and Fable 2 turned out to suck.

Lol, I know. I also know that no one reads it either. I don't really care, I type about 180 words per minute, so it's not like I am pouring my heart and soul into it or anything. :)

Microsoft side: Xbox, Xbox 360, PC

Sony:PS1,PS2,PS3 (PHAT) and PSP

Nintendo:3DS

Least favourite? Probably PSP for lack of games to play. It's still fun, but I mostly use it to play music.

PS3 Slim + Xbox 360 Slim. I mainly use the PS3 since most friends are on there and the online is free.

2 360's, Wii and PS3. PS3 takes the cake by leaps and bounds. I enjoy the others, but there are far more games I want to play on the Sony machine.

What???

DOUBLE WHAAAATT!? PS Home? Interface? I guess you've had plenty of time to get used to it since it will probably never change, just like Sony.

Um the interface is customizable.

Unlike Xbox where you get a wallpaper and can't even see it past the ads.

The interface changes any time I like.

And PS Home is fun, don't knock it till you try it.

I need to preface by saying, I'm weird. lol. I have: - A PSP - 3 fat PS2s - A PS3 Slim - And a bunch of apple computers (3 laptops, 2 OSX desktops (one which doubles as a windows PC) and an old mirror drive G4 for those juicy obscure old macintosh games.) My favorite is the PS2 (clearly as I have 3 of them). Honestly nothing quite tops it in terms of the amount of gaming I can get out of it, I just love everything about the system. Having said that, I enjoy the PS3 quite a lot as well. And I have to give honorable mention to my old dinosaur G4, I just love the hell out of the thing for some reason. I don't really like the PSP but it gets the job done for my purposes. (waiting rooms etc) the only hand held I ever liked though was the gameboy color so I'm probably a bit biased on that front. I'll probably be buying an Xbox 360 next time I get paid as I've already started ordering it's exclusives off of amazon, we'll see how that goes. Edit: I forgot to include my Wii. >_

Slim 360 with Kinect- Around 25 games

Wii- Everything (Use your imagination)

3DO- 8 games but all of my boxes and Manuals are in perfect condition

2 Jaguars- 1 of them is unopened- 11 games

Neo-Geo CD- About 30 games

I have had every system at one time but have recently sold almost all of my gaming stuff. The 3DO is in perfect condition and is right now in the closet. My Neo Geo is also in the box because I have it all on the Wii. I still play my Jaguar from time to time but the one that is opened is almost dead.

The Wii I play maybe 2 times a week unless I have company. Then we do multiplayer Mario Kart, SSBB, or Tasunoko VS Capcom

I would say 90% of my game time is on 360, I have a few PC games (5 or 6) but hardly play them.
