For my birthday I bought myself a Razer Onza TE and I love it, I play better on both Xbox 360 AND PC. My group session has an Xbox 360 and I bring it their since they're short on controllers, I was practically dominating everyone yet I don't even play CoD or Gears of War. On PC I manage to make it to the top 3 on my team in most games like Crysis 2, BlackLight Retribution, even in TF2 I manage to pull of headshots from far distances with a sniper using as huntsman bow. People found it hard to believe I was playing with a controller in PC shooters. I've tried using it in Tribes Ascend but my only problem is that you can't adjust the sensitivity for controllers so it can hard sometimes if a enemy is moving faster than me.

I love the remapable triggers, it allow you to do more functions like a mouse and keyboard that you can't do with a normal controller like jump, aim, and reload all at the sametime. The sad thing is you can't map D-pad stuff to it.

I started abusing this function in gears of war which really made me an epic wall bouncer which made my group mates rage and wanted to take my controller from me.

My expectations for Sony and Microsoft next gen is to release a controller that is at least like the Razer Onza, if they just rehash the same gamepad with no extra buttons or improved deadzone I'm going to be disappointed.

depends where you buy it, I got mine from the gamestop 2 blocks from my house since I was impatient even though it is $10 cheaper online

about $55 for the TE and $45 for the normal one (which doesn't have adjustable sticks)

Gimmick crap that will soon be forgotten. Biometrics or something. What I really want is advanced force feedback, but that's too smart of a decision for any of these companies.

Sony will most likely continue with the same design, as most of their fans are adapting to the controller rather than the other way round.

MS will probably have the most erganomic controller.

Wii-U will bring the Wow factor again.

I have always found all current controller comfortable and wouldn't change the Xbox and PS controllers. I can imagine that Next-Gen that Sony and Microsoft will stay pretty much the same, maybe with a few minor changes. Nintendo will have a screen in the middle of there controller and I really want to try it out, its looks like it could get uncomfortable after a while.

2 extra buttons on the back of the controller for your middle finger make them what A & B currently are now (so usally for 'action', 'jumping' and 'crouching')

[QUOTE="campzor"]dualshock 4 anything else will be a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE disappointment

This I could use a little bit of upward curvature on the backs of R2/L2 (they are NOT "triggers", btw. they sometimes end up that way because of lazy developers.) but other than that I like the dualshock the way it is, I'm hoping beyond hope that Sony doesn't give in to this asymmetrical analog stick trend. I can't stand it.

I would much rather Sony focus all their money and effort into the actual console, use DS3 to save money. If its uncomfortable for people they can release different shapes of DS3 pretty easily. But there is no need to actually change whats inside the controller.

Plus if it breaks, you can just hook in your PS3 controller.

55 and 45$ for the different versions...basically 25 dollars more then a wired 360 controller, and a wired ps3 controller. all for something that gives you little if any benefit, I've used em and they are no better then the stock controllers, even the dpad which you think would have been fixed on this is just about the same very little benefit.

hmm? someone doesn't understand ergonomics...not using that controller design was sony's worst mistake they used their own 15 year old dual shock design which is one of the most uncomfortable that controller pictured looks very ergonomic it would have been very comfortable.

Personally I hope the xbox controller stays the same its really comfortable like the way your hands sit while holding it but they need to fix the d-pad. The ps3 controller I dont like as much it doesn't feel as comfortable in my hands because I dont like the bumpers i feel like my fingers are going to slip off and I dont like the joy sticks if they could have them dip in that would be great then I probably would love the controller.

I can't see how a change could benefit DualShock 3 which is pretty perfect. However, the 360 controller could benefit from the change.

The D-pad sucks on the 360 controller. Fact. That's the only change really needed.

No, it really is a fact.

Ergonomics aren't an opinion.

There's a reason why way more people find the DS series of controllers somewhat uncomfortable. Trust me, I've spent a combined total of 15+ years with them, and they're simply uncomfortable. Not Sega genesis, dreamcast, Saturn or Xbox orginal, or GCN uncomfortable, but more than the 360 or Xbox revamp uncomfortable.

Yes, as you've shown me.

At least I'm willing to give the topic an actual look. You just blindly charge forward and give your vapid opinion based on some weird/idiotic loyatly to a company instead of quality.

Btw, it's cute that you give a company a marraige like devotion, but newsflash, they don't give a **** about you and will abandon you at the nearest profit point (see: Kinect, Wii.) Not that that doesn't make sense, but it does in fact make it pretty ****ing stupid to give a company that sort of devotion.

It seems that you don't know what "loyalty" means. I suggest you to look it up on the dictionary.

It's silly that you automatically classed me as a fanboy because I like PlayStation. You are the one of those who makes this place dumber.

If you loved Xbox all the way from the beginning and still like it, that means you are loyal to it. Understand?

Do System Wars a favour and don't be so stupid. Calm down with the word of "fanboy" in your mind. If you actually go in the real world, you would realise how dumb you've been saying to me.

I don't have any loyalty to any system. I ditched sony because of the disk error (and somewhat because MS had Rare and Fable, but we saw how that turned out). I'm ditching MS because of RRoD next generation (and because most of their garbage now is Kinect). I base my purchases on the quality of products (including franchises).

You're a prime example of a fanboy. Don't lable me as such, because I'm pretty far from it.
