PS3's Home had to exist, pointless rubbish.

FPS games that dont differ from the rest of the crowd, it is sufficating with all the FPS games, it seems whenever i stumble apon a good game that isnt a FPS im in heaven.

Massively overpriced DLC and the RRoD, if it weren't for those things I would probably own a 360.

MS starting next generation too early with a faulty system. MS having almost no first party studios and relying almost soley on 3rd parties.

Nintendo not having motion plus ready at launch and faulty nunchuck motion control. A lot of Wii games are barely different than thier GC counterparts such as Animal Crossing. Last generation game ports on the Wii.

Sony showing off games that won't come out until 4 years later.

The PS3 holding back 360 games because it's such a ***** to program for.

Motion controls, then Sony and M$ hopping on the bandwagon due to its popularity among the casuals.

The generic stagnation of fps these days such factors like: Magical Healing Fairy. Because of that darn regenerative health pitslay 1 you've played them all. Which is why I haven't bought an fps in a loooong time.

COD4 is the one game I can play over and over again without getting tired of it. So I am going to have to disagree with you on that one. COD4 is probably one of the best games I own, along with MGS4 and Warhawk...I LOVE Warhawk

Wow lots of things went wrong this Gen.

1. DLC+ DD

2.RROD or to a lesser degree YLOD

3. patches nobody release a game polished and glitch free anymore.

4.Over priced console's and I bought mine around launch :cry: :P

5. Motion control's but but the casuals think using a controllers to hard.

8 hour games, most games being generic, repetitive FPSes(most play and look the same, too), and too much emphasis over motion controls.NYrockinlegend

I agree, DLC is the most vile thing this gen, companies are basically pushing half finished games and charge you for the other half. Versus mode for RE5? Freaking costumes for SF4???? Imagine if a game like Mortal Kombat Deception came out this gen, i'd bet that the content you'd get off the disk would be equal to 20% of wat the game really holds.

Even good DLC's aren't really justified, like the warhawk updates or various FPS map packs, this stuff is free on pc, why do console owners get to pay for that??
