No, I doubt that. It's just some issues with this new update. I haven't had any problems for a while now so hopefully everything is good. And yeah, I do notice that the dashboard navigation is faster, but stuff is loading up slowly. It's never done that before. May be because a lot of people are trying to dl this new update right now? idk... but like I said, everything appears to be good now so hopefully these issues with freezing and stuff loading slowly are gone.

yea i have a slim which is impervious to RROD lol, and i noticed the DB was slower.

I really like it, but I wish they had other other color options besides white. I think it would be awesome if they had like black, orange, green, red and blue, hopefully it will come over time.

I like it more then the old one. Wonder how the 360 netflicks app and the PS3 one stack up now. Dont know which is better now.

The Ps3's still streams faster and better, but Not the Xbox has all the instand queue movies just like ps3, instead of just having a list that updates depending on what you watch and etc. I like em both, I find the netflix quality difference to be very minimal, besides the fact that the ps3 loads it in faster and has a better fastforward. but yea it works fine on either console.

I like the update a lot. The images are sharper, it seems faster. The whole look is just better. I agree there is a little too much white, but it's still a fresh look. I'm really glad they ditched the rounded corners and went with a more uniform design. As a Zunepass subscriber, I love the music integration (finally!). The Netflix redesign is sweet too.

Terrible sound effects, they tried to sell me Kinect when I booted up the system, they removed 3d perspective on the friends list. Oh, and there's still paid advertising on my launch screen. You know, on the console I paid full price for and have to pay $60/year to play online with?

Pretty much a fail. I guess Netflix would be nice but I already have the better version on my PS3.

It's not. No 1080p support, no 5.1 surround sound. Microsoft would rather spend money on Kinect advertising than a better Netflix client.

I'm easily impressed and I love it. I love the new color scheme, new clicking (move around?) sounds and new avatar proportion. I also love how every game in the market place now gets its own themed background/page. I think the slow loading is due to update rolling out, it might be back to normal soon. Yes, my themes are a bit messed up or overlapped but I'll get over it.

Not a fan. Making everything square and lack a rounded bezel seems completely nonsensical to me. Otherwise it looks exactly the same. I had no problem with the NXE, seems like a totally pointless update.

I only watch movies on my ps3, I tried it one time on the 360, I downloaded half of it before I starting watching it, almost at the end of the movie it stoped because it caught up with the download...........On the ps3 I can download for 5 min then watch the whole movie NP. That was the only time I tried it, and probley wont ever again since the I have the PS3 sitting right next to it, not worth chancing it.

It's game related content.So that would be info about XBL and game info.There are no ads on my spotlight menu.

Do not like it to much.

the white hurts my eyes, it seems sleek but it isnt much sleeker than the other dashboard.

and the avatars creep me out being all lanky and stuff :P

You dont play games on your PS3, just movies? If so thats weird.

Its slower and I had it freeze on me 5 minutes after I updated it. The presentation is cleaner, I just hate how everything is brighter now it hurts my eyes. Plus its buggy saying my halo waypoint wasn't installed correctly :?

The improved Zune integraiton is pretty cool. They had the Zune Marektplace solely for video before. Not only did they improve the interface, but they added Zune Music as well, including Zune Social.

Kinda cool being able to use my 360 to see my friends who have Zune accounts and see what they've been listening to.

Very convenient that my MS points are tied into the Zune music and video marketplaces so I can spend my points with any of them.

thats completely false.
1. disc based the ps3 streamed slower its interface was slower was well.
2. discless its better streaming but the interface is still slow compared, and what do you mean? xbox 360 netlix and ps3 netflix all have and have had access to your instant queue...all of it... I wish people that only just recently started using netflix on 360 or ps3 would stop commenting on 360 and ps3 netflix before they joined.

@the folks saying its system wars, system wars, system wars we can talk about xmb. fine go ahead and let it turn into xmb is better, dashboard is better.

I didn't know they improved it. What was wrong with it? Was it the quality? I wouldn't mind a little more clarity in mah chat.

I think they updated some codecs or something, I'll go look.

Slightly annoyed that there's no ESPN in UK, we have ESPN HD/America here on Sky. I probably wouldn't watch it too often, but it'd be good for boredom.

The voice quality in party chats decreased tremendously. Everybody sounds like robots now.

I like it better than the previous dashboard. The layout didn't seem to change much though, but the colors are better now. I'm a little disappointed that it didn't come with any new themes.

i dont like it at all. m$ took a step backwards imho the icons are too big and the navigation is very slow and laggy and its so hard to find anything on it

really ? i havent had a problem with either, but supposedly the PS3's netflix does stream faster.

I like it. Looks nice and looking forward to all the new features.

The ESPN application is nice. I just checked all the games I missed tonight in the NBA and it loaded and ran flawless.

Going to try netflix right now.
