1) Unify the e-Shop, for instance if I by The Legend of Zelda (NES) on my Wii-U virtual console, I should be able to download and play it on my 3DS.
2) GameCube titles on the e-Shop.
3) GamePad support for all e-Shop titles.
4) Pre-load feature for Wii-U titles released on the e-Shop.
5) The ability to Gift games and other purchasable items on the e-Shop
6) Enable the GamePad microphone to be used for Voice Chat in online multiplayer.
7) 3D Support.
8) Starfox, F-Zero and other IP's that haven't seen new games release in a while.

Ew. And you want Zelda to get worse why?
DarkLink77
WW > SS/TP
But the N64 ones are best.
Ew, WW is not better than TP.WW > All other Zelda's :shock:But I must add, I'm a boater, loved the sailing in that wide open blue world - Wii U needs a Zelda sequel with that same kind of wide open water world minus the fetch quests. :P

All this minus 3D support. I could really careless about that. And I would like a Metroid game that goes back to it's roots. (not other M)
-Better 3rd party support (The Wonderful 101, Bayonetta 2, and Rayman Legends is an extremely good start)
-Continue making the best 1st party titles in the industry (NSMBU is perhaps the most well designed Mario to date and Pikmin 3 on the horizon is incredibly promising)
If they nail these two, then we'll have another godly SNES system on our hands.

Zelda returning to the days ofWind Waker qualitywise.

Ew. And you want Zelda to get worse why?
Had you asked me a few years ago I would have agreed that Wind Waker is terrible, but having played it again. I know think that it is the third best Zelda in the series, only behind Alltp and majoras mask.
Ew, WW is not better than TP. take it back  ..... take it back Better swordplay, better boss fights, better dungeons, better exploration, better story... What's so great about Windwaker? The Triforce fetch quest was about the most inane part of a video game I've played.[QUOTE="DarkLink77"][QUOTE="NaveedLife"]

Well Wind Waker definitely had a better, more rich world to explore and a lot more to do outside the main story which, by the way, is the best Zelda story ever told and one of the most well constructed stories in gaming period. It's use of metaphor that extends beyond mere plot and enters into setting and every single NPC and sidequest is just masterful.
1) The most amazing Zelda ever.
2) One new franchise. A really good one.
3) Metroid Prime sequel.
That would be enough to make me happy.
Nothing. Don't want their Wii U, don't want their games, don't want anything from them.AmazonTreeBoa
How very illogical. It's as if all things associated with the name Nintendo are bad just by the mere fact that the name Nintendo is associated with it. They have wide range of games which are now extending to ZombiU, Rayman Legends, The Wonderful 101, and Bayonetta 2.
oldschool yet fresh?Amazing games that return series to former glory (in my eyes)
I want to see Zelda ditch the SKyward Sword setup and go back to a more exploration based world, and take some leaps in areas we have yet to see from Zelda. I want that truely next gen, mind blowing, oldschool yet fresh and unique Zelda.
I want to see this same thing happen for Metroid as well as other IP's, in addition to new IP's.
NaveedLife
thats a very very thin line to cross. I think something that just harkens back to oldschool zelda but modernized with all the stuff thats been introduced since then would be good.
[QUOTE="themajormayor"]Mature gamesnintendoboy16N64 era: -Perfect Dark (Rare) -Conker's Bad Fur Day (Rare) GC era: -Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem (Silicon Knights) -Geist (n-Space) 3DS: -Resident Evil Revelations (published by Nintendo in Europe, Capcom developed) Wii U: -Bayonetta 2 (Nintendo as publisher, SEGA as ambassador, Platinum Games as developer) Not to mention several third party stuff (that do better than Nintendo's own M rated games, weirdly enough). ok non-garbage mature games
Then you would like atleast one of the new IPs from Nintendo and Platinum Games "The Wonderful 101".New IPs provided that these new IPs do the following
- Appeal to core gamers
- Contain innovation (A new but derivative IP does not feel fresh at all, in fact, Super Mario Galaxy felt a lot more fresh than a lot of new but banal IPs)
Return of F-Zero that is not dumbed down.
Zelda returning to the days of Majora's Mask and Wind Waker qualitywise.
Provide me with an escape from the cover based shooting that plagued this gen.
A game whose storytelling is on par with Nintendo's best.Maroxad

Them having a selection of games isn't the problem. Them having a selection of games I actually care to play is the problem.Topic: What do you want from Nintendo this gen?ANSWER: To become third party, I think I could really learn to love Nintendo again as a third party game provider.fadersdreamYou'll be in for a RUDE awakening.

Looks intriguing I agree. But one game(2 actually, since Zombi-U still interests me)is not enough to justify a console.
I might get a Wii-U later on down the line, but chances are, I will be a PC/3DS only gamer for a long while.

Areyouf*ckingserious I love how in every Zelda discussion Twilight Princess gets snubbed on a story level. Outside of MM, that's my pick for the best one. Midna is a very well done character, the twilight realm stuff is actually fantastic in story terms, and Zant up until his lame boss fight is actually pretty good. Bringing back gannondorf is whatever, but Twilight Princess was wonderful in that area.Areyouf*ckingserious I love how in every Zelda discussion Twilight Princess gets snubbed on a story level. mario kart
zelda
ssb
marioparty 10
fzero
and god please a top gear 4-none of the rally/rpm crap some one needs to kick kemco into gear and make them make it for wii u haha
007
and the usual so far so good
All I want is a zelda game as massive as Skyrim, with a huge overworld, plenty of NPC's, lots of weapons magic, upgrades, armor and alot of towns and villages. Also non story related dungeons for sidequests or loot would be great. Just please nothing even remotely close to SS the absolute worst Zelda game of all times.
Starfox Adventures 2 would be nice and I'd love to see some more Travis Touchdown...
