Yeah I agree with Outrun. It was the best 2D racing game before 3D. 10/10 worthy.
But besides being an excellent game itself. Sitting on a OutRun cabinet in 1986 was just another experience in itself.
That said, sitting on any SEGA cabinet was like the best gaming experience you could get. I still remember the R-360 cabinet or Galaxy Force II. It was just years ahead amazing.
It's not surprising how they always dominated Arcade gaming.
So, MGS4 getting a 10 from me means that, from what has been done this generation, the game is the best it could possibly be in what it offers (as in, MGS4 = enriching single player experience). I can't give you a reason why GTA4 got a 10, and I would never give it a 10.
Close enough to perfection, that there is nothing( at least MAJOR) that is worth mentioning as a negative. As we all know though, in a professional type of review, nothing can be perfect. I consider mgs4 a ten out of ten but If I was being an honest unbiased critic, it would be 9.6....
