Lol this thread is entertaining, it really is hard to have a civil conversation or discussion. First X1 loses all its exclusives since Quantum Break is coming to PC, but then PS4 still keeps all the exclusives that are also on PS3 because it's the superior version. Lol ok, i can't keep up any more.

There never was that much exclusive coming to Xbox as has always been the case, but nothing except more shooters, Gears, Forza and Halo sequels. Nothing wrong with that but Xbox has never had a wealth of exclusive games outside of the early timed 360 games..

Forza Horizon 3.. And almost no other X1 exclusive is safe from going to PC at this point.

Exactly what PC games have Gamespot been reviewing "favorably" over other sites?

1. PC will always have far more high-rated exclusives than PS4, so he is right.

2. That is about as accurate as console gamers begging for a multiplatform game from going to PC.

More faulty logic. I can pirate the games if I want to and I don't have to use Live if it's an offline game. It does not matter who I have to buy the games from or if I can not play them on the PS4 lol because I don't have to buy an X1 to play them which is the point of this discussion. Fund more AAA games, how many AAA games have MS funding recently? No matter how you slice it this is bad for Xbox and yes it is good for MS/W10, which is the only thing you are right about. The fault in your logic is the fact that you fail to realize that MS is not putting effort into the Xbox brad and is focusing all of their attention on Windows 10. You are not even looking at this objectively and instead choose to defend MS when this is about the Xbox specifically, not how good it is for MS as a company.

@primorandomguy: You're right that a game isn't exclusive if it's on another platform; that is a fact (or at least it should be). Persona 5 is not exclusive. Neither is Quantum Break. That said, there is a compelling reason to play it on PS4 as it will surely be the superior version. It's the same compelling reason to play QB on PC. The Xbox One is getting dismissed by people right now because frankly it doesn't seem to serve much purpose or do anything particularly well. That goes beyond the concept of exclusivity - it goes more into questioning the system's value.

My sympathies to Xbox fans this generation. Microsoft sold out to the PC audience while you guys still have to pay to play online for the exact same games.

I can understand why Xbox fans are having meltdowns on Twitter and Youtube, and are making the switch to PS4. I'm here for you guys.

Why would Xbox Fan's who want to play QB switch to PS4, to play the Order 1886 and Tales of Whatever or Digimon Cyber Sleuth, wouldn't they just build a gaming Rig although they are expensive and Halo, Gears, Forza ain't on PC yet, but anyway PS4 is selling more because of Weeaboo gamers, did you see the GS news article all the big third party FPS games are selling better on X1 and PS4 has twice as many sales whats up with that

They're console gamers that don't want to shell out the money for a gaming PC but want to buy the console from the company that primarily supports console gaming. Buying a PS4 sends a message to Microsoft, and it doesn't hurt that the PS4 has a better games lineup.

I have a PS4 and X1 but I fail to see why an Xbox fan would switch to PS4 because some Xbox games are shared with PC, if Xbox has the franchise he likes he'll game on Xbox

It's really hard to spin Xbox losing/sharing its exclusives as a good thing for the Xbox brand. It has the possibility to be good for Microsoft as a company, and thats if it can gain significant mindshare in the PC space.

Co development of once primarily only console games would stretch development teams even more thin, would it not?

Do people really think the Xbox versions will still be getting the tweaking and polish that a full exclusive would receive?

I'm skeptical, but take that with a grain of salt moooo. Only time will tell.

LOL X1. Was a piece of shit when launched, and predicted it would fail relative to the competition. Glad the games are going to PC, about time MS got rid of consoles and concentrate on PC. And if MS keeps Xbox as an open PC box next, then that will fail because you might as well build your own.

PS4 could have 20+ perfect AAAE games and it still wouldn't change the fact that the PS4 itself is a terrible fucking platform.

Picking up a PS4 to play its (relatively few) decent exclusives is comparable to shit excavating for me.

I guess what really gets me about this announcement is this:

It's not like this is just some game that's going to the PC on day one, this was a game that was carted out at the XBox One reveal event. So, seeing this go day one multiplat is really something. There's really no other way to look at this than MS is wholesale abandoning the XBox One, maybe even the XBox concept itself. They simply cannot hold the line, even on timed exclusivity. The fact that XBox has a vastly diminished presence in Europe and NO presence in Asia is really starting to wear down the brand.

Honestly.........there is no reason to own a XBone since all XBone games are on PC.

Even the PSVita and WiiU have more exclusive games than XBone.
