ya.. good thing your reminded me of Enslaved. I bought it off of XBL games on demand and played almost 2 / 3rd of it. I should go back and finish it. It's definitely a good game.

Let's be honest here.
Super Mario RPG was awesome. But it wasn't exactly deep. In fact it was the opposite of deep. It was just insanely fun, we tend to overlook this.
Paper Mario TTYD has everything you just mentioned minus Geno and Malo lol.
thousand year door had nothing on legend of the seven stars battles were better, stat building more fleshed out and treasure finding actually took effort. Battles were nothing more then QTEs more often than not where as seven stars had actual turn by turn battles.
Turn based battle systems is dead, has been for quite some time. Although FFXIII had a similar design of turn based battle. I think it's safe to say that random battles in any game - including Seven Stars - is traditionally a QTE. Thousand Year Door just offered a different iteration. But I agree with you on that Legend of the Seven Stars having a better battle system. It was more engaging and the secret treasures were definately a joy to track down. I just think you missed the charm of Thousand Year Door is all.

Parasite Eve 3 happened already bro, it's called Parasite Eve: The 3rd Birthday. Too bad it resembled NOTHING of its predecessors... In other words it totally and utterly sucked... If you enjoyed the first two PE games, I STRONGLY advise you to not even give the PSP sequel a chance, it's that bad...

Agreed. I love the addition of heroes, the story... WC3 may be the best game of all time. I still play it, even though it's fulla 'tards these days. Euro server is by far the best, US East is almost unplayable...

I recently played through the WC3+Frozen throne campaigns again, freaking love these games so much.
Online has become a horrible experience though. Trolls are running rampant there, leaving in the first minute of the game because they think their ally sucks, etc....
