what game in 2011 is most likely to flop?

after what happened to gran turismo 5 (still better than forza though) anything is possible. im gonna go on a limb and say gears of war 3 is goona be a huge dissapointment. what about for you and why.

Is Duke Nukem Forever going to be a 2011 game?

• Dead Space 2- Same route as Bioshock 2

Team ICO's games are technically impressive and have beautiful artistry, and are often retrospectively very highly regarded, but I don't think they're appreciated that well when they first release.

It really depends what peopel want out of this new TM game. Do you want what you got before, different people with their own cars. then sure, youll probaly not like it since there not doing it that way anymore. If you want fun car combat and your not going to let overblown expectations get in your way, then I think its going to be enjoyable.

Microsoft delayed gears 3 to try to build hype, and i have a feeling it will backfire. not saying it won't be good, but i think it will not live up to everyone's expectations. but we never know.

Deadspace 2 no doubt

Dead Space 2 has been over hyped for what it is. It is a game that appeals to a real niche of gamers... I didn't pick up Dead Space till quite a while after is came out and while it is a great game... I don't think they've change enough to make a measureable "WOW" for DS2.

On that note though, because I am one of those gamers in their niche (survival horror) I've already got it preordered... so despite the fact that it might be an 8 instead of a 9 like people would like... its still going to be great for those gamers who are excited for it.

So many people are expecting Crysis 2 to flop that I'd say the expectations aren't high enough for it to be a flop if its score is even somewhat decent.

I'd say Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

crysis 2 will flop on consoles due to technical limitations on consoles which in turn might affect the pc version. after all crysis is known for graphics. Unless they do a hell of a good job on coding and optimising it for the consoles, I don't see it turning out well.

Probably Crysis 2. Every other game coming out looks pretty well polished and unique in it's own right, while Crysis 2 looks very generic. Nano Suit abilities will be cool to mess with, though :)
