What game that scored really high (8+) you just don't like?

Everyone has their own tastes and sometimes even if the masses say a game is deserving a 8.5 you just can't get into it no matter how hard you try.

Also....Leave COD out...I don't like it either...but there will be a massive amount of COD posts because this is gamespot and gamespot hates COD lol.

For me I cant for the life of me get into the Uncharted series. The controls for me just feel way to awkward to try to keep trudging through the games. I haven't played 3 but I played 1 and 2, but I couldn't finish them. I just couldn't. Story was fine and I like the idea of an Indiana Jones esque game, but the gameplay itself just left me flustered.

Yes I'm in the minority when I say I do not like Uncharted.

One of the worst games I have ever played.

Gears of War, Halo Reach, Halo 3: ODST, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl, Minecraft, No More Heroes, Invisible Wars.

Perfect Dark Zero.

No More Heroes. Dreadful overworld, boring jobs, really rough around the edges, and combat got repetitive at times. I still amaze that game got a 9 here and won best Wii game of 08. It had some nice strong points, but there just quite a few big problems that really hinders it and just became a chore thus I just couldn't finish it. Thankfully the sequel was much better.

Call of Duty and Resistance 1 & 2 come to my mind at the moment.

I hated (insert game you the reader like here), it was very boring and repetitive. I have no idea why folks like this game. It has no depth and the depth that it does have is already done in some way shape or form in other games. It's not revolutionary or sets any new standards in the video game market. The characters were average at best, and the storyline was borderline laughable. The gameplay was poorly done as the controls were just horrible. The graphics aren't as good as everyone says that it is. Don't know why it got so many good reviews.

Anything after Modern Warfare. I don't hate them, I just think they're overrated.
