What game would compel you to get a Wii U the most?

Nintendo hasn't been making games for gamers like me for a long time now. Zelda was the only game left I feel like having but after trying Skyward Sword I now know that Nintendo has given up on real gaming and relies on gimmick controls to stay alive.

So to answer the real question... "What would make me support a company that no longer makes games I like?".... I guess a complete change in company direction and focus. Something I don't see happening any time soon.

Bayonetta 2 is the only game WiiU owners are making me jealous of. Still not worth $300 of a new console though

They did. I hated them in Galaxy 1. Literally couldn't believe they brought them back. Rehashing/revisitng boss fights, fine! The worst stars in 1 tho? No perfect 10 from me cos of that :P

Some high quality, exclusive M rated titles like the GC got (Eternal Darkness, REmake). Not gonna happen though, so they're not gonna get my money...

I don't understand.. you know Sony and SE is two different companies right?

I'm also not happy with SE but Sony has been working with developers for games like Demon's Souls and Ni no Kuni.... two titles I would take any day over the current Nintendo exclusive offerings.

Try telling me those games are all about cinematics :P

I've held off, even though i wanted to get one at launch. But wen these two release, and if they're good, i can't f*cking hold it in me......  And my money shall be spent on the Wii U and these two.

Pikmin 3 would be the number one reason to own the WiiU for me. It's the next installment in my favourite gaming franchise which has been absent for almost 9 years now.

I was already convinced to buy it at launch though because it's a Nintendo console and there hasn't been a single year yet where they were by far the best first party developer in the industry.

A sweet full 3d, first person Metroid game.

BF4, GTA5, MGS5.. Oh wait.. Nevermind.

Maybe a realistic action story driven game with superb gameplay that makes use of the tablet and with online/co-op/multiplayer game would make me switch on the Wii:U once in a while.

For me it was just because of the transit time, the hub world, and the Luigi play through being too much of the same.

There was one crate burning stage in Upside Dizzy world.

I already got one, but I would have chose any of the above tbh. If I had to choose one though it would probably be the new Mario game.

More than anything though I just want to see a new strong IP from them. It would probably compel me the most since I know it will be interesting at least from first glance if it ever did happen.

Battlefield 4, Tomb Raider, Dead Space 3, Bioshock Infinite...all of those.

I already have one, because I knew a Smash Bros will eventually come.

I already have a Wii U, but the most exciting thing on the horizon as far as I'm concerned is definitely Project X, so I voted toward that in the poll. Honestly though, most of the poll options would compel me to buy/keep the Wii U.

SSB4, I guess, though I'm interested in Project X and SMTvsFE.

Would take a multitude of games coming out. 

Pikmin, Wonderful 101, SSB, Zelda, X, and the other standard fare Nintendo titles coupled with a price drop would get me on board. I'll probably buy one once it has accumulated a library. Monster Hunter and NSMB are not system sellers for me.

Kotor III. After getting burned with the Wii, I am taking an indefinite hiatus from Ninty. It'll be the first home console I haven't purchased. Used to be the Zelda/Metroid/Mario combo would be enough, not anymore. Sticking with one console from here on out. PS and their PS4 will be my console going forward.

Uh...nothing, really. Or at least nothing that I can think of. I'd buy it if I felt I wanted to own and play one of them, the games it already has would probably do but I just don't feel like getting one right now or later down the road.
